I'm sure they will have FC and CU down there to keep them company...
I know right?! You would think that clubs wouldn't want to challenge themselves and take a chance on ECNL. It was so much easier for them to finish well and in fall and win state cups, but no..... They think they're all that, traveling all over, playing good (relative, but still better then playing in state teams for the most part, granted.) They had a good thing going.

Silly soccer clubs.
I see they actually got accepted to Las Vegas Players Showcase. It will be interesting to see how they do.

It is interesting how whenever ECNL goes defensive they become so sour and bitter. These people must be real gems on their child's teams. It makes sense why the ECNL teams want to travel do far away and leave their parents behind.

That's rich! Clearly an unbiased opinion there. Or you haven't read any of the thousands of TA lemming posts attacking the ECNL clubs.

Well it's not a juice box league. You just have fun with your family outings to Medford, be glad you get to bond with the C team.
Love the rationalizing by the Thorns faithful. Constantly telling everybody that the Thorns Academy got all the best players and best coaches. Then when they cough up a bug fur ball in FWRL, it's all "appropriate level" and "need time to gel" BS. Fact is that losing FWRL is a huge black mark against the program and the Timbers running of it.
Thorns are blowing the Challenge off. It's Surf or bust baby!
That does not make sense. They have no path to surf cup if they don't do (well at) crossfire challenge. Their FWRL/PacNW showing wasn't good enough to put on the application to surf. OYSA isn't going to give them much more to put on the app.

Crossfire Challenge is too late. Surf applications need to be in now. Of course, the Timbers will "embellish" the record of the Thorns Academy by using the history of the Copa TS team to make it look better. Probably still won't be enough to get accepted.

Truthiness hurts, does the Chinook Cup have high school teams?
