It wouldn't surprise me if you don't even have youth who play soccer. Sad.

After all, she's only 16 and in HS. She also is on the women's UNT U20 team and is on TV. She's not paid to play. If she is, then she can say goodbye to that UCLA scholarship. And fwiw, I've had my dd referred to on her, her initials used and her name said. I don't want it to happen, but if it's not derogatory, which it wasn't, then I didn't mind. People moved on. I mean, it's not as if she isn't pretty well known by the players and coaches in her age group.

Player Reps
So I take it that when a player develops a reputation for a style of play we are not supposed to not talk about it?
If you don't want to be known league and state wide as a flopper ....don't flop nearly EVERY GAME!
Similarly, if you don't want to be known as a dirty player don't get Cards for dirty play. If you don't want to be known as a whiner don't whine to the refs all game long!
If you want to be known for your play score/stop goals and make pinpoint passes and be the teammate that everybody respects and even opposing coaches respect.
I can't recall a player getting a rep they didn't earn/deserve. positive or negative.
If a big part of your "game" is working at gamesmanship on the pitch don't be shocked that you get called out . Mom or Dad if you have a problem with how your player is perceived you should correct the behavior or live with the results.
