There is one Chain I would recommend, simply because we don't really have it around here, Firehouse Subs is by mill plain and 192nd. Very good subs.
As far as Ice cream though they have a place on 192nd right next to costco called "Flash Freeze Dreamery". Its an Ice cream place that uses Liquid Nitrogen to make each ice cream to order. Really good, and the kids love it.

Positives: Good competition so far, good refs.
Negatives: Having to drive to Camas for a 5:15 PM game on a Friday. Did not enjoy spending 2 hours in the car in traffic just to get to the game.
Agree with the poster about better labeling of the fields.
Appreciated that we got free tickets to the U23 Timbers game, but wish they were for a time when our team could actually go to the game rather than at a time when we were playing. Maybe next year the tickets could be for a game that wasn't played on the same weekend as the tourney (at least for local teams).
Delta Park fields could use a little grooming.

I have two kids in this tourney.
Only my second time at the tourney.
Tourney runs smooth, quality fields, with Delta probably being the worst of all three facilities we were at....not sure what the deal is with everyone with regards to harmony....harmony looks and played great this weekend, even with the rain.
My only complaint would be why is the tournament so spread out? This weekend I drove around the vicinity and noticed two nice schools within a mile of harmony with lots of space to have fields.... The timbers could literally have the entire tourney within a mile radius.

***C doesn't have a good enough relationship with the school districts(if any) to have the fields taken better care of etc. Amazingly, if they would ax a DOC and pay for a Greenskeeper/School district liaison, I would bet that the fields all around the Couv would improve greatly. That, as well as many other things take time.
Glad you liked the Tourney, hopefully things will change before the next ice age.

The area has many that will say, "it's green, that's good enough."

Overall, I thought the tournament was impressive. I really liked the DOC Harris facilities. It was open, parking easy, the fields were in very good shape. Harmony was mixed but mostly good. If it had not been raining so much I think it would have been about as impressive as I have ever seen. But because of the rain, it got muddy which certainly made things a little messy. Parking was tight, I think I saw a cop out there giving tickets to people parked outside the complex, people who could not find a spot? The potholes in the parking lot were much better than the past, but I'd like to see the entry fixed up. Those are some massive potholes as you enter and leave. I really liked that Timber Joey showed up and took pictures with the Finalists, and the log slice as a trophy has a nice touch to it, particularly with Timber Joey there. Obviously, if they could get some turf fields in there, this whole tournament would elevate. There was a nice mix of restaurants around the Harmony complex which made time between games enjoyable. I did not see delta park this year nor any of the other venues. I thought the competition in our bracket was plenty good, with a nice mix of teams. There were a couple beat downs but nothing more than 6 goals. The rest of the games were all within 2 or 3 goals.
I would do it again. Suggestions for next year: eliminate the potholes entering Harmony, find a secondary parking location for overflow, get your turf fields done, and don't let it rain. :) But it was a blast. Good job.
