Once you sub out, you are out. Coaches aren't going to just be putting girls in to ensure playing time. They will want to win, which means starters and top subs get the playing time. Players 14-18 who get to travel with the team and spend that money will be doing so without much chance of playing. That should make the $8K worthwhile.

Do you have a little dog you carry around in your purse also...because it is all about status and looking good...who cares if you actually get to play.

I've spoken with ECNL parents in other states and they all agree that it's not a lot of fun for the reserves who are numbers 14-18. And that doesn't count the girls who are behind those, who get to practice but never even travel.

I am not upset at all, in act both of my players are boys, so I could really care less about ECNL, I just like watching train wrecks happen, and it seems like both trains are now on the same track and in view.
