Heres some info form the WA state handbook. Its Q&A section

"Q: If a school does not have a junior high program in a sport, may the high school coach of that sport work with the 7th and 8th graders.

A: In the absence of a sport being offered at the middle level, the local school board could designate 12 consecutive weeks within the HS season for a middle school season...." it goes on to say during those 12 weeks they could work with them.

Within The HS season is the key to this. Not outside of it. Rules are specific as to when HS season is.

Good point. Vantucky timbers are just a feeder club to the real clubs across the river.

Too bad for the kids that start at Vantucky Timbers as they have to spend their first year at a real club unlearning all they've been taught. But it's worth the effort for those that haven't been permanently damaged by the Timbers "send her" philosophy.

No other team from Vancouver or Oregon are going up and competing in RCL 1. More power to them. They will be much better a sa result of that play. You want to be the best? Go play against the best week in and week out. Maybe that Selenium team at THUSC can compete as well but that's it. Every other team in OYSA is a joke.

Being "in" RCL1 and "competing" in RCL1 are two entirely different things. This team can't compete.

So who is competing? WPFC is killing it. No one else is even close. So are you saying Crossfire is not competing too? Seattle U? Everyone else? What is your point. Sure sounds like you are singling them out for no apparent reason but to denegrade the team on the forum.

Any team with more than 1 point per game is competing a lot better than this hick team.
