[QUOTE=Unregistered;1341426]Wait 'til it rains today...[/QUOTE
Have you ever been told......
If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all!
People are trying to share information, let people make the decisions that best fit their family and situation, it is different for each child/family.
If you don't feel that RTC is right for your child/family, I respect that, but don't belittle others who feel it is the right choice for their child and make unproductive comments. RTC has its pros and cons and each much decide what is best for them.
It was nice to see someone actually answer the question and provide information to someone who did not have the information. It was interesting how many people responded to the question but never answered the question directly.

They don't know the parents or the kids. Every winning team is obnoxious to the those that are trying to compete. I just never understood the venom toward them.

Just signed my dd up for RTC. You don't have to make all the tryouts but have to make at least one or get letters of rec from coaches & Doc. Registration for tryouts doesn't close till after tryouts. are over. Last year at this age they didn't cut any players except ones who were really very very low quality. That can be a good or bad thing ... but don't not go because you're worried you'll get cut the first go around - especially in a smaller area. Last year the 400$ included a duffle type gear bag, shorts, jersey, warmup pants, nice Thorns sweatshirt & thin rain jacket & socks (all Nike). Not bad.
