Well on any team like this there are only a couple players at most that will end up on any top teams down the road, most of the team will quit competitive soccer by high school.

So sad, the WT_FC 03 Reds got moved out of the Rev's bracket for NWCL. Now they get to play each other, but if I was a Reds parent I would be angry. You don't get to play the best teams in Seattle now - (WPFC, Harbor, Crossfire) - but the Revolution still do. I wonder who got paid off there?

Daughters are excited to hit the American Girls store in downtown Seattle afterwards.

WT_FC aren't representing the OPL in NWCL. They didn't qualify through the United Cup. They got in because GO is on the advisory board for NWCL and makes sure there's always a spot for his Red teams, deserving or not.

Even though WT_FC is a SW Washington team they are still getting a Washington RCL spot. The Revolution spot is an Oregon spot so moving Idaho out and Washington in makes sense I guess. WT_FC have some great kids that could play for any club or team at this age. I hope both groups of girls enjoy the experience. Many of these girls will end up on teams together next year and beyond. I for one would love to find a way to make it happen sooner rather than later, don't care what the club name is our the color of the uniforms.

Your right they did not have to play in they have a club birth. I have watched them play this summer on a couple occasions and yes they would continue to struggle against those elite Seattle teams so probably best that they got moved anyway. However give them credit for playing, in a region the size of SW Washington it is almost impossible to have two teams with talent enough to really compete up north or even with the top two or three in Oregon I wish them well. I admit I am biased I think the Revolution have something going and would love to see more top local player's come around this winter. When we play each other I hope we come out on top but I'll admit I will always root for the local teams and kids and hope the WT_FC girls and Revolution are competitive and have a great showing.
