They are a good team which can compete with all but CopaTS and TT. Did well vs FCP but likely not their caliber yet either. In any case, they deserved to be in Gold. Have good '01 and '00 teams as well so should end up in good standing after the switch to birth year teams this next tryouts.

The $700 per month likely does not include parent travel. But that's only $400-$1000 per trip depending on how long and how far.

If it's just a trip to Seattle it's only two nights hotel and gas for parents.

Four parents carpooled to Dallas and slept in the car. We only out fuel money and snacks on the road. You can shower at the YMCA for $5 in most towns.

If it's just a long weekend you can probably save the money on the shower. It's not that big of deal.
