Well recapping all I have read for the past few months, According to those on here 3 of the better players left WT FC Red for FC portland, and only 6-7 girls stayed with that WT FC red team so they shouldn't be any good any more.

Well apparently WT FC won in PK's today so I guess the drop off wasn't too much.

But wasn't FCP last place last fall. Did they improve significantly or did WT-FC get worse. Seems they are pretty even now.

Well they finished 2nd place in spring and 2nd in state cup, so they got better through out the year (or what was left of OPL was that bad). They have been saying they picked up many good players (3 of which were from WT FC), so they were saying that they were the team to beat.

WT FC only kept 6-7 of their 13 players from last year, so its almost like a new team with just the core left, so it was assumed they would be taking a step or two back this year and building from there. I still think that is the case, but apparently they didn't fall back as far as people were assuming they would be.

It looks like the U12 pool at FCP has gained considerable depth. With their A team in the final and their B team in the semis, that's something that even the great WT_FC couldn't do. What happens when 2 or 3 of those "6-7" leave next spring? The G02 pool at WT_FC just isn't that deep.

Well since you obviously aren't part of that pool, you don't really need to worry to much about what is happening with that pool of players.

Sure I do. Some of those players will probably be coming to our club next spring, if not before. But I will agree that you need to worry about it much more than I do.

I will guarantee you that no 02 girls read this stupid blog. This place is for coaches and parents to talk smack to each other in a vain effort to sway other peoples opinions that already so prejudiced and biased that they only join into the argument.

Yes true. The parents who left for Portland FC be happy with your decision and move forward. Not all girls are looking for scholarships.

02's Bad chemistry out, good chemistry stayed. Everyone expected a step back in talent level (the players who left to FCP were good players), but apparently the step back wasn't as large as everyone was expecting. Basically a brand new team, will be interesting to see how they grow.

Funny thing is your right about the ***c parent being asked to leave by the ref who lost his cool, parents question calls in every game, and that parent was whining, but where your wrong is the ar was on the end of the field where the fc p parents were. So I guess you were 50% right. Stay classy fcp
