I agree. Same with Eugene Timbers as far as being the only club pulling from a decent sized population. Eugene has a couple good girls teams but no top level boys teams. CFC has some top boys teams, right?

CFC has several top boys teams. My understanding is that they have had several former players get on the roster and field for the Portland Timbers first team.

Sadly this is a fact of life. Board members kids, managers kids, the kids from parents who have money to throw at the team, parents who brown nose, or chat up a coach constantly they get more opportunities. Not just stuff like this but playing time and other such stuff that gives them advantages as well.

Wrong! A relative of mine suited up and played for the first team last year. He was a CFC product. He wasn't the first.

Are you talking about the Timbers u23's? I'm with CFC and I'm pretty confident no former CFC player played with the Timbers first team last year. How about we give this thread back to the 02 girls?

Nemisis went backwards this year. Picked up some girls from some select team, not Premier players. Surprised they had to pick them up for numbers. B team is not good, uses lots of A team players for tournamants, so no help from the B team.
