Where does the 09B coach work? That's your answer. It is so rotten youth soccer here. Several OPFC players didn't even practice and were selected. How? Leaving behind top players that didn't even make the Alt list?

This is what he wrote me back when I said only discovery players and OPFC players were considered for the Arizona roster, “My assumption is that if the Discovery Program was meant to find the best players, then most of the best players were in that group.”

He’s kind of a POS. Has been since his PCU days when he coached there, myself and plenty of others who crossed paths with him while he was there will tell you the same. He thought it would be an easy slide-in as Roberta’s successor but he has to deal with some of the crap she left behind and also is tasked with stepping up and handling the ODP transfer, which he does not seem equipped to do. This is the same guy who saw a family kicked out of a local soccer club earlier this year in retaliation for whistleblowing and did nothing. Of course he’s gonna turn a blind eye to more innocuous stuff.

In this case Nelson is probably right. The best players are in the discovery group. The funny part is you want to blame Nelson, you should blame the person you made the baby with, our yourself

The O9B ODP coaches should resign if they have any dignity. Huge conflict of interest. There are several OPFC players that should not be in the Phoenix roster.
