Not sure what you mean. This was a very good game with 2 goals for Westside called for offside, posts, good goalies performances, that was decided on a corner kick with minutes to play. Westside needed to win to make Nationals directly and OPFC now with the win needs to wait for a result to see if they can go in 2nd place. Why people keep talking garbage about Oregon soccer? These are very competitive Teams.

OPFC and WSM are a collective 5-0 vs UPDX since September, UPDX has some wins in ECNL, ergo, therefore, it follows that OPFC and WSM would beat some ECNL teams.

Rumors are next year the MLS acedemies are going to split off and stop playing the run of the mill MLSNext clubs. Not much value for LAFC to beat a team 17-0.

WSM got called for offsides numerous times; once the ball ended up in the net well after the ref blew the whistle, the other time it wasn't clear the ball even went it. Doesn't matter tho, score is what it is.

Competitive game yes; wasn't the best soccer either team is capable of. Lots of coaching from the 5 WSM and 2 OPFC coaches, they should just let the kids play.

“The rapture” is coming, but going to be less impactful to the local club scene going forward.

Important reading for anyone who thinks there kid has a possible spot on TA. New rules in place and even fewer local kids will make TA going forward.

Already 9 or 10 2009s practice with TA. TA recruiting more now in Cali. Don’t expect too many more than 15 local 09s to make TA next year. Probably if few 2010s if they keep the same patterns up.
