The only way to support the revenue for ECNL teams is to use the fees from a large pool of youth teams that help feed the few elite teams.

At top clubs in area you always have a core 12 kids at each age group who will not move. That leaves 8 to 10 families who are unhappy and looking for a change at every age group. Some are overlooked and need a fresh pair of eyes judging talent and some are just not very good. At high level ECNL Clubs, especially ones at top of area (like Thorns) they tend to shed lower half and attract others top players. Always movement though, to be expected.

This is true of every club. If your daughter is sitting the bench are they getting better? Practice is great but games are at another level at every level.
The top players need to play with the top players. We will see where the top 07s from fc move to. All other age groups from fc will probably move to bridge city or stay at oysa.

Im sorry but FC Navy teams are truly white teams and fc has 1 to 2 teams per age group if that counting ecnl. Bridge city is definitly a step up for FC players if you do not count the ecnl players who now have a choice to make.

Presumably each new coach (if they are good) will also bring in and attract new talent. So you won't be working with the exact same player pool. There is always player turnover.

Probably not, especially for the olders. This is more looking forward, solid foundation to build off of. Will be interesting to see how the current player pools line up against the new coaching philosophy and expectations. Will also be interesting to see what the Thorns put up. Also, is it known what the field assets are for each club now? Have heard that NWE may be practicing at LaSalle on the Eastside

Bridge city is to the GA what FCP was to ECNL. Basically a club that can't compete that shouldn't be there. Bridge city's only good team, happens to be a team from Idaho who took a spot for their 06's. Outside of that they are not good. Just look at their results: U13's- last place 0 wins 14 losses 2 draws, U14s- Last place 0 Wins 15 losses, U15's- Second to last place, 1 win 13 losses 2 draws, U16's Only good team in 4th place and they are from Idaho, U17s- 2nd to last place 2 wins 11 losses 1 draw, U19's- 12th out of 15th 2 wins 11 losses 2 draws.
