Hey, they are wasting the tax payer money too by reporting their loss of data to the FBI, Beaverton Police, ... and they even notified the Oregon State AG.

The better use of their money is to pay for credit reporting for all of their members since they failed to protect the personal information of Aloha members. A nice lawsuit or two from their members could cripple their financials.

Paul do you always act this childish? You demonstrate incredible immaturity in your responses. I'm sure they seem humerous and on point to you, but to everyone else, they paint you as very childish.

Too bad Aloha doesn't understand that they aren't getting onto the fields. It's not going to happen. Sorry Aloha.

                      No wonder....

.....nothing ever gets accomplished in the soccer community. some on this board indeed try to make an effort at educated, mature input. for the most part, i can't even believe most of you are parents.

Speak from the facts and your experience. If you don't have them, dont engage in the conversation. If you haven't been involved in trying to get field space, if you don't know the specifics, I suggest your opinion is not valuable. If you are interested in arguing over generalities, to suit a "side" you are on, I suggest your opinion is not valuable.

I'm not even sure we need MORE fields. THPRD has been nearly impossible for ME to deal with, and they have a reputation known for that. i personally attempted to get permission for a trainer to use field space. We were continually told there was no space available, yet he was the only guy there week after week. I contacted a school principal about another field, and she said the same thing. I quote, "When I am here on the weekends, I rarely see anyone using the field." I've seen it with my own eyes.

We can't know what the problem is until THPRD is held to accountability. Looks like it's been tried. Now it needs to be enforced. First, we need an accounting to know what is really going on. Move forward from there with the true picture. Then people can start forming opinions based on the truth.

                      It's not rocket science.

Paul Blackmore, in his dilusional world, sent a letter to Aloha parents stating that "it rains in Oregon" and "this causes games to be cancelled." Really Paul, are your kids that soft? My kid plays PDP and in the fall they play at Cook Park, which is, wait for it....., GRASS. And yes, it rains there. And in years of playing, we've had NO games cancelled. The kids play right through the rain. And the kids sometimes have to practice on grass in the rain since the club has some turf and some grass fields. And they do fine and practice is never cancelled. And these aren't rec players, these are club players.

Paul is just lying to his people about games being cancelled due to the rain. Maybe they are cancelled, but they don't have to be. PDP doesn't cancel games. No reason for Aloha's rec program to cancel games.

No kidding!!!! The only game we have ever had cancelled due to rain in all our years in Oregon was at a TURF Field! It was PCC ROCK CREEK. The issue was that the rain caused standing water on the turf and the field wasn't draining properly. We have played many games on grass in pouring rain that casued our kids to sink past their ankles in mud, but the games were never cancelled.

I havent even taken any sides on this issue, I have one player at club and one at rec (neither at Aloha). I can tell you that your statement is completely erroneous. Aloha doesn't decide to cancel games, they have no control over that. Cook field is a City of Tigard facility, and the debate here is THPRD. I can personally attest to the fact that my rec player has had games cancelled both fall and spring league at THPRD grass facilities each of the last 2 years due to rain. The decision made is not the teams/players but directly made by THPRD. This does not even include practice times in which they have declared the field closed.

The discussion/debate is a worthy issue, but it is constantly derailed by people as such yourself who make false statements and innuendos. I have no idea what the answer is, or who is wrong/right. But I do know that your comment added nothing of value or even on point to the conversation.

I know what the answer is: join a different league dope. Idiots like you complain about things under their control, just like Aloha. No one is forcing you to play there. Or ask THPRD to keep their grass fields open when it rains. If they can't, then MOVE. Talk about someone not adding any value, it's you.

You are the poster child for the majority of talking-soccer posters. A jackass who enjoys flaming because you are so pitiful in the real world that you have nothing better in your life.

You speak of Cook Park, which has nothing to do with THPRD. How does that have any value to the discussion?

I didn't complain, kids are happy where they are; one at club/premier and the other not yet old enough. I was simply pointing out that ONLY Thprd controls the closures of fields in the district being discussed, which is on topic and relevant. But that must have been too deep and beyond your understanding.

Your only response is to "move" when you are provided facts relevant to the discussion? Wow, how long did it take you to come up with that one? We already could tell you were not the sharpest tack, no need to further prove it.
