    Super Salesman

Either they are going to reform the system to provide real benefits and unbiased access or Eryk is going to have to learn how to sell sand to Arabs or ice to Eskimos because as it stands now we would be better off paying for additional one on on one coaching and guest play in So Cal than to go through the charade that is Oregon ODP!

Need proof there is one player headed to a Pac 12 school as a forward that never touched the ball up front. Ohhh yeah they really know how to evaluate talent those 2012 ODP coaches.

I predict a dramatic drop off in ODP participation next season and or a drop in talent as the real players are not going to waste their time and money even if it is a little cheaper with the Timbers involved!
If you are referring to the U of O forward then I think you don't see her play often or you might understand why. I think all of the regional pool players are amazing.

Some one commented about how, once you achieve the holdover/regional team status, you have to be pretty awful to get replaced. Always irritated the real players when these girls were selected not based on performance. So, the best team may well not be represented. I do know that some of these non-Regional camp players have done little once they hit college play. It was obvious to the players but not to the coaches.

Not that 95 and there were 96's that that got promoted that left our girls scratching their heads too!

You missed the point and your bias is showing.

            What ???

OrSoccerMom - please explain, as posting a UO roster and future recruits is reasonably meaningless to the post you referenced. P.S.: congratulations on your DD verbal, should work out as it seems greater than 90% do. Was that what you wanted to share?

I think dad was referring to the forward going to ASU.

That was the right player but I'm not her father as if that would make the content of the Post any less relevant.

I misread thinking people were bashing my DD. Instead they were bashing someone else's DD .:(

Decisions about invites to regional pool were not under the control or direction of OR ODP (Eryk or the coaches).

Don't fool yourselves. Rochelle is one of the 95 regional coaches and the mixed bag of invitees from Oregon reflect this. Many of whom would not start on a top club team.

You have to remember that many of the kids don't play the same position at ODP that they do for club. They might not have been able to make ODP in their normal position but might excel in another.

Many of whom would not start on a top club team???? At the 95 age group it is doubtful that even one would not be able to start on a top club team and no chance that many would not.

Spoken like a very bitter person.

I can't speak for the 99's, but you sure as hell can't be speaking for the 95's-98's.
