    And best to the girl who went down!
    Couple things;
    The girl who left via ambulance was released from hospital tonight.
    Was not really surprised at the outcome but was surprised at how it got there. OSSA scored on two set plays (a free-kick and corner) but played boot-ball all the rest of the game. I guess if that was their game plan, bravo! because it kept the THUSC team on their heels. Teams of this caliber normally don't count on 'boot-ball' as a game tactic and I guess, to be honest, I expected more from a team playing in the State Championship. THUSC put together some runs at end but it was too little, too late.

    I was actually there to watch the 4:30 game but thought this was going to a great game to see.

      Boot ball? Not the game I watched. To know so much about the injured player I wonder what team you were for. The white team was composed and efficient, did exactly what was needed to hold a two goal lead against a team that was outplayed. The better offensive and defensive team won. Better luck next year

        Love when people say they were there to watch another game as if this wasn't a THUSC parent. Don't really remember much from THUSC in the second half and definitely not much at the end of the game. Both teams can play more attractive soccer but in going for a win you do what you can to get it done.

          Ossa

          Ossa plays boot ball at the u16 and 17 level. If you are fast it works.

            If they were that one dimensional don't you think the other teams could figure this out? How did they both make the finals if all they do is play "boot ball"?

              I am a THUSC parent and went to watch thinking it was going to be a great game. I thought both teams played very similar style. The free kick was awesome. Congrats to OSSA girls

                No one said they both played 'boot-ball', they said OSSA played "boot-ball".

                  I'm not a thusc parent and I went to watch the game. I have seen both teams play better and was a little curious because i thought OSSA booted it more than usual. Did they do what it took to win? Yes. Was it pretty? No. Did I expect more from both teams? Yes.

                    Not a THUSC or OSSA parent, but have watched both play several times. OSSA totally dominated the Sodium in the first half. I have never seen the Sodium on their heels like that.

                    The second half was played more evenly.

                          Yes OSSA won and for that they deserve recognition, buuuuut lets be honest about the style of play your entire coaching staff has an affinity for. Yes it works here in little ole Orygun but how does that work for you at the bigger tourneys and how has that worked in the recent past getting your girls up to the D-1 level?

                          BTW NOT a Soduim or THUSC parent.

                            I am not a Sodium or OSSA parent either but really??????? This post just reeks of jealousy.

                            Congratulations to both teams for making it to the finals and congrats to OSSA for pulling out the win!!

                              Not jealous just a factual observation. The OSSA parents need to acknowledge that is the style their staff coaches and they need to defend the success of that style. I was asking an honest question about the success of that style out of state and getting players scholarship. DK how you got jealousy out of that but oh well.
