Rec soccer should be played in parking lots or in the unmowed fields. Save the good fields for club soccer.

Some people just want to stir trouble and confuse the issues. Hoping we will lose interest and bury the real discussion and information.

Remember the points. There are several clubs, sports and taxpayers that support THPRD. What is a fair way to serve the community and share the fields?

Please talk to your club, leaders and THPRD reps and get involved as much as possible. Remember this is about the kids.

The name calling, insults and immature comments made reflect poorly on the rec community as a whole. It takes a few nasty folks to ruin the reputation of the greater community, a combination of both rec and classic KIDS and their supporters. I would suggesting capping the attitude as it does nothing to further your cause.

And the classic poster above is any better? You should call them out as well.

You obviously are either a rec parent or haven't been involved in the process for awhile. Most classic programs are starting at 5 or 6 years old now, players are bypassing rec completely.

Those "classic" programs for 5-6 year old only have around 20 kids per club, so THUSC and WSM would have 40 players total for 5-6 age group. BTW, 40 is a generous number.
