It is a conflict of interest and he should not be put in that position by THPRD which is why I said it is a THPRD issue.
I also agree that it is a THPRD issue as they never should of trusted someone from WSM ;)

I believe the rec clubs should get use of fields equally among other rec clubs. WSM Warriors should not get the use of many fields while AUSC gets the use of none. This has nothing to do with classic soccer.
That is a blatant lie!. AUSC has fields. Give me a break! Not only does AUSC have fields but the website sure does a great job of listing all fields that AUSC play at during Spring League.

Quit trying to trash talk classic clubs as they have have no control of what happens in the THPRD district. Contrary to lies and propaganda posted on this forum.

How do they not when Bill is in charge of the scheduling? WSM has DIRECT control over the fields.

That is not a field list for fields available to AUSC for practices. It is a field list of possible game locations so parents can get directions. It's similar to what the OPL has on their website. Doesn't mean AUSC gets these fields on a regular basis.

The truth is it could be worse but it definitely could be better and more fair.

Hope the district can work together and have some balance. It is hard because there are fewer fields with the schools expanding and putting in portables, losing valuable field space. Then there is Tigard which has a lot of kids coming to Beaverton schools with no room and space for building more schools and fields. It's very tight.

All the sports are struggling to get field time. Aloha HS barely gives AUSC field time like they promised when they built the turf and donated money.

The Beaverton community needs to figure these problems out and to do this we are going to have to work together. THJSL clubs, THPRD and sports, BSD, etc. It is about making a liveable community where the people that are paying the taxes want to invest in and make a better place. Think long term and make the fields allocation fair and transparent to start with. I think we all want our kids to have the opportunity to play soccer and exercise and have the opportunity to develop and play competively if they want to. I hope the clubs and THPRD can work it out.

Shouldn't everyone rather work together with the rec programs to build up their support so you can expand the classic program, build more turfs instead of driving them away to other clubs/sports/activities?

Are there really no grass fields for our kids to practice on? Since when does rec soccer need fancy fields for practice? My child grew up playing rec on the grass fields at our local park. She developed just fine practicing on good old grass at our local parks & school grounds.

Sounds like everyone needs to chill, find some grass & play/practice soccer. For goodness sakes- other countries the kids are playing/practicing in the streets or old lots.

You know it always strikes me that folks demand "written proof" when the statements made hit too close to reality. It has been interesting watching OPL delete documents from their website, or reword statements, change bylaws.

No-one is looking for a conviction here...we don't need written proof, we only need folks to understand what the individuals concerned are capable of.

Flat or bumby (just no holes) doesn't truly matter. The fields/school lawns my child grew up training & playing on were never flat. Her ball control skills are better for it. This isn't professional soccer or even premier soccer we are talking about. These are rec kids who aren't in soccer to be Mia Hamm or Beckham. They love soccer & want to play.

Sounds like the adults involved need to reassess the situation, quit thinking that they have to have the best all the time. There are many communities surrounding that train on simple grass fields wherever they can find them & they're not complaining.

As for the tax dollar issue- we all pay for things we don't use personally.

                          Perspective people.

We are all capable of great and/or disastrous things.

It can be quite dangerous to let your mind wander and create false reality and perception, this could be more dangerous than your assumptions.

Unlike you...I couldn't tell you a single fact about him. What is clear is that you have serious Mental issues, and need a team of shrinks to work on you.

What is also clear is that he proabably knows who you are, by the restraining order he has against you. He for sure knows your name and address (probably split between the state hospital and your mom's basement).

Who even knows who Bill is? Maybe that should be a poll question here?

Here, I'll throw a name out too........"Fred, you've really done it now! You're in big trouble!!!"

                              Gosh, I feel better now....

You may not have noticed, but it rains a lot in Oregon. Wet fields get torn up badly. To the point where they can become unsafe. Look at the East side of town. Most fields out there are terrible. They are over played on and not kept up. THPRD does an excellent job maintaining our grass fields. One key element in this maintenance is managing when and how much they are used.
