To All Westside Members:
*
Our Club anticipated entering all our teams in the 2012 OPL State Cup.* It has come to our attention that USSF Bylaw 603 and Policy 212-1 provides that a club can’t restrict teams from entering the USYSA National Cup Series which is administered by OYSA.* This USSF bylaw states that we must provide teams with the option in playing in a USYSA sanctioned event (such as the OYSA State Cup or President’s Cup) or US Club Soccer sanctioned events. Our legal team and Board has reviewed the USSF Bylaw and have concluded that we must inform our members that they have a choice as to which event your team wants to participate.
*
In deciding which event will participate in, it is important to note that this is a team decision.* Please* schedule a team meeting as soon as possible to discuss these choices. * You will also receive input from your coaches.* The following information is provided in order to help your decision process.

I thought OYSA was offering a pro-rated player card. Didnt OYSA offer to pay for the Far West Regional/President Cup entry fees to the state's winners ?
Am I dreaming this, or did I read it somewhere ?
If so, the additional costs really are only a few bucks for the card and the qualifying tourney....or....about $22 per player.
