WHS 1 BHS 0. Not the same score as the 6-0 blowout that westview had a few weeks back, but a solid game with their offense unable to connect more goals. They earned 10+ corners and held BHS in their own half most of the game.

Southridge had a couple looks and scored on a beautiful cross/header but overall Sunset's defense and firepower at the forward positions just proved to be too much.

I have seen this one but am trying to figure out WHO is fitting into the bracket at what spot. For example, the first slot says #1 vs #8. #1 from WHERE? #8 from WHERE? Midway down and at the bottom is says; #1 vs #8. FROM WHERE? #1 Metro plays #8 from ????

That is the info I am looking for. Thanks.

Sunsets going to beat Westview. They have a much healthier roster. Westview only beat Beaverton 1-0. They are hurting right now. Tualatin will most likely beat Jesuit if they can stay healthy as well. They have more weapons surprisingly.

I think it will be Tualatin/Sunset final barring any surprises or darkhorse entries.

Agreed. It's those "darkhorse entries" that always scare me. If a team like N. Medford or Thurston catches fire, there could be big shakeups.

To date, JHS has beaten Sunset (and lost one to them as well); Westview; Lincoln and South Salem. THS' victories over their Pacific Conference opponents just don't carry the same weight.

Frankly, I don't see Westview as being that big an obstacle for Tualatin. Look at their last 5 league contests; Tie Sunset, lost to Southridge, beat Aloha, lost to Jesuit, barely beat Beaverton. That's not a record of someone who is going to dominate OSAA's number 3 team. Regardless of Tualatin's opponents, they still have posted some impressive numbers.

I agree, as good as Tualatin is, not having the same level of competition each week will hurt them. What will surprise Tualatin is the speed of the game. The question is will they be able to adjust quickly. If they can then they'll be fine.

i think they will do fine and making the semi's is not a bad thing. The real question is can Tualatin handle a more organize team, better defenses and can their defense handle a better offensive attack (like Jesuit and Sunset)?

I think this is one of the more accurate posts. Couple that with the speed of the game post earlier and I think that about sums it up.
