pretty sure 100% were Washington teams (that means ZERO for OR)
with the Timbers representing WA in several age brackets.
Look for more Oregon teams to do well in the NWCL this year since the scheduling will now be fair to all teams.

They tied an Oregon U13 team so I'd say that classifies them as not as dominate.

If you are referring to onyx, there is no shame in tying a u13 team of that caliber. I have a u14 daughter on an Oregon premier team and I would say that Onyx fits right in with the top u14 teams in the area and to be honest, onyx is even better then some of them. Onyx made it to semis of thusc and only lost to wsm due to a missed handball. I would even say Onyx outplayed wsm and played a much better game. Not sure what your point is in saying that if a u14 team ties onyx then they are no longer a quality team. You are insulting 2 teams with that statement.

Not sure where it said they were no longer a quality team. It stated they were not as dominate as they used to be.

You base this silly assessment on 1 scrimmage?

I would base it on the fact that Oregon teams are now beating them. A few years ago Oregon teams were struggling against the Blue team and now we're beating the Reds.

Some of those players may never get "up to speed" because "some" are out for themselves so possession is not in their vocabulary no matter who teaches it.
sounds like you know an awful lot about these age groups. more than any normal sane person should. if i were to guess i would tend to think people like you are the biggest problem on that side of the river. pretty clear your not from oregon, so why dont you go try and stir the pot on your own forum. or maybe we should be thanking you for helping send more players this way. i am going with that thanx. keep up the good work.

Or maybe he's familiar with the handful of kids that have come over to Oregon from up north? Just a thought.

Better girls leaving for Oregon makes more room for "B" level players which are on the timbers red team.
