the fact that you started a thread just to trash kids is disgusting. there obviously is no moderator for this blog. you've shown us just how low TS will go though. pathetic people with apparently no lives of your own.

Passion it of course is my thing favorite to talk about. I think it is impossible almost to has too much passion. Passion need the birds to make pollen in flowers. With no passion we know have flowers and fruit.

Passion make player who am pretty good into a feenom! Player has good technical skills but, he have not the passion is just a normal player. You add passion to the player and you are a player who special things make happen.

Passion is very good so please find your passion and unleash it. Happy everyone will be!

          Passion WIN WIN WIN

This has got to be one of the dumbest posts I've read. Who said competitive sports can't be fun? Take the fun completely out of it and the player loses the passion. You must be one of those parents on the sideline yelling at your kid and criticizing his teammates. We all laugh at you.

I bet you want to come out of your skin when someone puts an "S" on the end of "offside" and does so when the player is clearly not. now that I know that just clapping at the wrong time pisses someone off, I'm going to bring those big purple plastic clappy hands to the field and clap those things every time our team manages to string 3 passes together(rare occurrence).
I once clapped at the wrong time and had at least 10 parents gang up on me. I wasn't even supporting either team. I got there early and was watching the game ahead of ours. A bunch of rednecks.

I think what the poster is trying to portray in the post is that parent's do not see anything wrong with their little Johnny. We all know that every player in any sport all have flaws and constantly need to improve on something even the pros. But in the US, some parents do not see that their child is weak at something and will blame the coach, the club, the team and other players for their kids flaw. Clubs can provide coaches, training etc but it is also up to the player or parent to continue to improve and train outside of the club or team training days.

You have some kids training outside of team training days to get better and when those players play more than the kids (lil Johnny) that do not put the extra work in, the parents find excuses and ways to justify why their kids are not playing. Players having flaws does not mean that they stink, it is relative to the player and the parent to recognize the flaws and try to improve. Must parents are living their life off their kids soccer career so they are blinded to the fact that maybe their kids are not good enough in certain areas of the game. Players should constantly continue to work on the strengths and recognize their weaknesses and improve on both to become better players. Most kids don't even watch the game and are not students of the game so it is hard for them to make adjustments on the field. All my comments above should refer to U15 and above that are playing competitive soccer but the training, dedication and willingness to improve can start at age 12 with the right guidance and supervision in a fun environment to develop the love for the game. Just my observation and opinion.

As long as you are in a pay to play environment the squeaky wheel parent will get their way. We had our 3 weakest players playing every minute in critical positions during state cup. Needless to say this took us out of the championship game. The coaches rationale was that he was using state cup to showcase these players because they were the only ones not committed.

They weren't committed for a reason. They never did commit and the rest of the team were never given a real opportunity to win their last state cup.

It sucks but it ain't going to change.

Waaaaaa!! None of these kids are "great" and we shouldn't compare... Skills in youth soccer will not guarantee success in life.... Whoever started this thread is ridiculous... This last post is even worst, sounds like you think your kid is gods gift,
                        Get over yourself!!!

Here is the squeaky wheel that is always in the coach's ear about minutes.

State cup is about winning not showcasing.
