She's not "impressed" by the talent in Florida. Her kid would stand out and would not be fair to the others. She's being a good citizen and allowing our kids to showcase since we are all at the same level but not quite to the level of her kid. Thanks MP. We know you publicly bash us yet secretly trying to make headway to come to OC. Yeah, not gonna happen. You'll be lucky to last all year in ATL.

More than two - both UCF and FGCU are also ranked - UCF needs an at large bid after losing in tourney. FGCU is already in NCAA and have won 13 straight with their only losses to Texas AM, USF and South Carolina

Yeah good soccer programs both. How about the conferences they play in? SEC? ACC? Yeah...so about those being big time programs...not so much.

Team Boca holding a tournament for high school aged girls (u15 and above) in conjunction with the NCAA Women's soccer final four. Almost every college coach will be attending. Local teams will not be able to hang with the caliber of teams registered. Unfortunately teams from Team Boca are obligated to be a punching bag and don't have a change.

Florida Rush and Weston in U15 are not exactly elite, so can't be too hard to get accepted

JFC trying very hard to get ECNL for a few years now. It must not be all that bad if they are willing to trade in the R3 and NL slots for this league.

The ACC has 6 teams in the current top 25 rankings. The next closest conference has 4, and that's the SEC. What a DB!!!

My kid is U14 and one of the top teams in the state, but the tournament isn't for teams under U15. And I am very proud. You presume too much and it shows your continued ignorance.

Looks like the usual suspects from in the state. Doesn't look any more prestigious than many of the other tournaments. Also includes B teams from several clubs -- now that's some prestige.

Time for some education rec dads. Showcase is not as much a tournament as it is a chance to showcase your talent to a college scout. Plenty of them lining the fields at the Final 4. The girls also receive tickets to watch College Cup games (those would be the 4 top teams in college soccer dad). Now why is winning at a showcase not as important as a regular tournament? Glad you asked grasshopper. Because the teams are supposed to be playing all the girls so they can get looks from the scouts. If it was about winning, the starting 11 would be seeing most of the time and that could mean fewer girls get recruited. You see dad, clubs don't make money winning trophies at small regional tournaments. They make money attracting the best talent because those girls and parents see the number of girls getting scholarships. Hope you could follow along. Good luck at State Cup. Say hello to the 4 college coaches that show up.
