Most parents are delusional regarding their childs true skill and/or ability level.
Rarely do parents see their childs technical flaws nor do they openly admit what other weaknesses they have or understand how to improve in these areas. Not recognizing, pointing issues out or working to improve technical, tactical or physical deficiencies only exacerbates the issues over time. I dont care what club level you play, admit it your kid stinks at something and you should let them know it!
