you are right and wrong in your advice. Every player does have something that is a weakness, but they shouldn't really worry about it too much.

Find what you player is good at and focus on that instead of his weaknesses. Make his strength even better and truly unique instead of worrying about a weakness that is hard to fix. I rather have a player great at few things than average at a lot of things.--So sayeth the soccer coaches of the WORLD. At least the good ones.

No issue with the facts but look at this as a whole is your kid in his age group the worst overall or above avg? You cannot get wrapped up in every flaw it is a sign of compulsion disorder . Your kid is playing not you he is not perfect and guess what your not perfect ! Life is like captain obvious take your happy pill and move on !
