Besides all the bashing of OC and Fkk on here. All I can say is congrats to everyone who made a team. I am extremely impressed with the talent. OC have to hand it to you. You set a mission on your girls ECNL and accomplished it. Also at your purple levels. I do not mean to sound shocked but nice job. ECNL will be a fun crew to track. Listen this is great for Central Florida soccer to attract talented teams whether it is Fkk or OC. Good luck to all girls.

Yes the Purple team will be strong but what I worry about more is the development of the player. I did not see the development of the girls at OC or FCA last year. Good teams but from start to finish their play did not improve. You can have speed, size, strength but if you can not control or pass the ball, it will catch up to you at U15 and up. Do your research.

A triple digit negative goal differential for four teams in the ECNL SE Region is a real sign of steady improvement. Drawing talent is only part of the battle. Now the girls must be trained and developed to compete in ECNL. Not something OCYS has been able to do thus far.
OCYS is a lot of things, good and bad, but steady is not one of them.

Short of a major organizational disaster they will grow and field quality teams. You can let your emotions rule, but logically they will be a dominant girls program. Can FKK do the same? Maybe, but with OC having ECNL, which is recognized by all to be the best route to success, it will be tougher each consecutive year. I hope over time both clubs can develop many quality players. That could only be good for our community.
The best talent in Orlando without proper training and commitment will be a repeat of last year. OCYS has yet to show any understanding of how to improve. Some of us remember the brain trust of BP, SC & the penny brought in to run ECNL teams.
