I know quite a few FCA boy teams are going to the rush tournament rather than supporting a GPS club with their tourney, all the good JFC and JYSC teams are also heading to Orlando rather than supporting a jax area tourney

How is that dumb? Econ is more central to Orlando than Seminole is and when you are talking about girls coming from the coast and from Orlando, it is a good spot. Besides, it is the winter training area.

Ummm ... the winter training fields for the ECNL teams were in Orange City.

Girls currently come from Jville, Palm Coast, Ocala, Eustis, West Orange, South Orlando and Melbourne. Moving the practice 30 minutes closer towards WFF on less than desirable fields for the purpose of a coach is not very smart. It also makes OC look like they are begging and accommodating to the latest takeover. Outside of not being smart it just looks and smells bad but they haven't really cared about bad publicity before now have they.

Hey ... we are going to move our whole Elite girls program out into a hole in the wall so we can make a part time coach happy!! Even the OC leadership isn't that dumb.

As much as I'd like to be called an idiot, that was what I was told by a reputable source. Yes, I won't tell you who the reputable source is... ECNL teams will train at Econ. If I am wrong, well, your paycheck won't change, where you rent an apartment won't be different, and how well you kid does in school won't be affected. If you'd like to throw some insults and toss around some four-letter word with *** inserted, feel free. Most of us have thick skins and know that the ones who lash out are the weak links.

I think you are protesting too much! If OC cured cancer and caused world peace you would try and find fault with it. First, ECNL will not be training at Econ. 2nd even if they were why would it matter? Are those fields going to cause the girls to not get better? Give it a rest. We get it, you like it at FKK. Great! Stay there. For me I will choose a club that gives my daughter the best opportunity to fulfill her dreams. I believe that is OC with ECNL. You may not agree, and that's okay.

Yes and they do not close after Thanksgiving like every other county park. ECNL plays a hard schedule through NOV-Jan when many other parks are closed down. SO its makes sense to me to have the training ground a standard where you can train through the season and centrally located?? wow what a concept???

If they didn't close this year than that is a change. When EOS had them they always closed after Thanksgiving, since my kids never could practice after that day.

Thanks for letting Alan know. Maybe he will think ahead and reserve those fields in Orange City that he used last winter?
