Really depends on where the ECNL teams will train. Rumors are that the girls will be at Econ, which is much closer to FIT than Seminole.

True but those fields are horrible when it comes to holding water! It doesn't take much rain to close them and they take forever to dry out. I'm guessing they will use the proposed field in Bithlo as a training site, especially if the rumors of a working agreement between OCYS and Space Coast are legit.

If they don't use I'm not sure who will because they are in the middle of no where and traffic to get out there would make it impossible to start anything before 7pm. There is just no easy way to get there from Orlando. 50 is a parking lot for the most part.

Better watch out OC directorship - seems like some of your better ECNL players have been seen trying out at WFF this week! Pretty patheric that Orlando girls have to travel 2 hours to play on a decent ECNL team when ECNL is right in their own backyard!

so to make it more convenient for part time ECNL coaches OCYS is thinking about inconveniencing existing players by moving practice location for next year?

Going to lose the girls. A couple of years ago OC tried to do that and no one showed up. Econ fields suck and is a real pain in the butt to get to. I guess unless you are coming from the coast.

I guess these season will be catered to Space Coast girls. Wonder who gets catered to next year?

Seminoole fields are in much better shape than any other place around. It's worth driving the extra 30 minutes.

They aren't switching fields. Just some idiot trying to stir up trouble.

Hey ... we are going to move our whole Elite girls program out into a hole in the wall so we can make a part time coach happy!! Even the OC leadership isn't that dumb.

It will come. Each year will get better as long as they recognize they have some shortfalls and address them. Changing to Econ to suit a part time coach would definitely be a step backwards though.

How is that dumb? Econ is more central to Orlando than Seminole is and when you are talking about girls coming from the coast and from Orlando, it is a good spot. Besides, it is the winter training area.

So you are saying that the girls from the current 16's went to wff ECNL to try out , find that very hard to believe.
