A Good percent of the membership is gone at OC. The 2000 member youth club keeps coming up I bet OC is barley at 1,000 kids.

U13 - Last place. no wins.
U14 - White team won two but missed finals. What happened to the awesome Black team?
U15 - Black and White teams got a win! But missed the finals.
U16 - Last place. no wins
U17 - Tied with Tsunami for first in division with 2 wins.

Look familiar? Looks just like last year's ECNL results to me. Except this was a state tournament against less skilled teams than ECNL. So you drop down to a local league and you still can't deliver those awesome results you keep preaching about. What happened to that superior development? Looks like SCU, FCA and the rest of the state teams that routinely beat the crap out of CFK still hold the advantage.

I hear the Central Florida YMCAs are starting a league. Why don't you see if they will give you player passes for Red Bug?

The "awesome" black team was winning the Disney Tournament that weekend... Sorry the girls couldn't get back and forth to Tampa to satisfy you.

Well the DA kids are playing. It is fkk trying to prove something. If you just want a game ask any purple teams as they need scrimmages for state cup.

Prove it. Post the minutes from the FYSA meeting where OC broke the rules. Show us the disciplinary minutes from US Club Soccer. Anyone? Anyone?

FYI - Recruiting kids to ECNL and DA is not poaching because those are not FYSA leagues.

Just because nobody has brought any charges against OC, doesn't mean that they aren't breaking the rules. Knowing they are doing it and proving it to FYSA or anyone else are two totally different things. OC is already talking to coaches about next year, just like they did last year and the year before. Just ask your technical director when he was hired. There has been enough things proven already, don't need to show proof of sanctions for people to know they are doing things against the rules.

Omg, I am stunned at the continued crap still flying around. I was involved and remember the power trip going on there concerning Orlando city before all the mergers. They thought they would run it all and OC would just give money and be the pro team. I saw the writing on the wall and couldn't jump fast enough. Luckily my daughter wasn't a chosen one so it was an easy choice. Watching all the mayhem over the last couple of years. It has been funny just to sit back and watch. Entertainment you can only get from reality tv.

There is nothing to be gained in doing this. Whatever anyone thinks of the OC U16 DA, they would easliy beat the FKK U16 team. I actually feel a little sorry for you that Talking Soccer and bashing OC seems like your best marketing strategy. Why don't you just enjoy your club and let us enjoy ours and when the teams meet on the field, if ever, let the kids decide the outcome without so much chatter from us parents. Live and let live. If you like your choice then great. I hope it works out for you. The bitterness and constant distortions make no sense at this point. You should probably spend your time convincing your membership to stay because you have a good product to offer. Why spend it trying to scare them away from leaving by bashing the other club? If you have kids that want to, and should play in ECNL and DA, don't you think the right thing to do would be to push them to those programs? If you think your kid was unfairly left out of a DA team, then use it as a teaching moment. Life isn't fair. Cheers.

I was just wondering how an OC player was able to quit the DA to play high school and then come back to play DA again. According to the USSF website you can't play in the same season that you play high school. OC would know that rule wouldn't they.

To maintain a focus on training, Academy teams do not play in any other leagues, tournaments, State Cup competitions, ODP or All-Star events without written permission from Academy staff. Full-time Academy players can only participate on their designated Academy team, with only one exception: National Team duty. The FKK 16s would easily win. OC had to use three guest players on Monday to beat their own 16s. We play at rush and know Marcos is over his head.
