Get over yourself. You sound like one of these moron u8 parents at OC who actually thinks there kid is going to play pro soccer or get a full ride at Clemson, because they can do a step over and make a nice pass . Ripping on Brick is different from ripping on kids. OC has plenty of good players on the boys side at all age groups, no one is denying that. But if you ask anyone around town with a soccer background about the people who run OC, you will not get a flattering answer. I can guarantee you that.

Most of the very good players at OC came from other clubs, OC has not really developed anything YET. I am all for playing for a great coach and yes, OC does have some, but playing for a club? Who cares, until they pay my kid I will have my kid with the coach that I think can develop them best.

Do you hear yourself? Before the pro club the goal of very local club was to make the other local clubs suffer. Everyone wanted to be the club and wouldn't have stopped at any merger or recruiting measures to do so. So funny that we throw stones for the actions we have committed ourselves.

I would say that fkk is on here in force tonight. I had an interesting day today. My kids played at Seminole today. There were lots of games going on including some of the DA games. Very interesting was the pro game playing a college team. There were lots of kids there not all just OC. The most interesting part to me was the boys on OC that were from the u18 national team. I didn't know who they were but the local kids knew them. I see it bothers you that OC has the opportunity and attracts a lot of kids. The most some clubs can hope for is to make themselves look good by tearing kids, coaches and parents down to build themselves up.

And they won 9-0 and 3-2 today maybe the cup isn't as strong as regions cup

Region does not mean much when poor seeding allows for lesser teams to advance.

These boys have already been developed and identified by US soccer. OC can only develop a purple marketing Champaign.

Just two questions...

In your enlightened opinion, is it bad, or good, that a professional club is trying to give young local talent a chance on it's team.

As a follow up, do you think it's bad that that professional team (which has been around three years) did not develop the talent itself?
