You are beyond stupid. We have been saying on TS for over a year that we want the best boy and girl players on DA and ECNL. That is how you build a winning program. Some will come from your club and some will be developed by OC. We really don't care. If they can play, they can play for us free. All players and parents in ECNL and DA know that they have to earn their spot every year. Isn't it that way in every sport? Or does your club hold roster spots for Mia and Landy because of their loyalty and devotion to HM?

Hey if you can recruit good players fairly, so be it. But so far the history of OCYS is dishonesty, incompetence and broken promises. Clean up your act and EARN the respect you seem to think is due by virtue of your purchase.

U13 - Last place. no wins.
U14 - White team won two but missed finals. What happened to the awesome Black team?
U15 - Black and White teams got a win! But missed the finals.
U16 - Last place. no wins
U17 - Tied with Tsunami for first in division with 2 wins.

Look familiar? Looks just like last year's ECNL results to me. Except this was a state tournament against less skilled teams than ECNL. So you drop down to a local league and you still can't deliver those awesome results you keep preaching about. What happened to that superior development? Looks like SCU, FCA and the rest of the state teams that routinely beat the crap out of CFK still hold the advantage.

I hear the Central Florida YMCAs are starting a league. Why don't you see if they will give you player passes for Red Bug?

The truth behind OC -

They had tryouts this past weekend - well done
They had tryouts a week early last year and will do so again this year - well done
They are on probation for ECNL and DA - well done
Got caught cheating in Dallas last year (Paul Shaw and Mark Lowry) well done
Got kicked out of CDL - well done
Hired an Lawyer to represent them and attack clubs - well done
Tricked clubs into helping them Rush and CFK - well done
Lied to everyone about field proposal - well done
Asked to provide free soccer in Windemere - well done (LOL)
Out recruiting all over the city - well done

You see everyone OC breaks a rule, lies or cheats on an almost daily basis. This is the real issue. Nobody has an issue with a youth soccer club that wants to compete, we all have issues with a youth soccer club that will do anything and everything to skirt the rules, break the rules and then turn around and tell you they are better than you

You may be surprised to see what kind of sanctions are given by FYSA and other leagues in regards to Orlando City

FYSA Bylaws and Rules
102.2 INITIAL AFFILIATION - Full Affiliate
Affiliation must be for the good of soccer in the District, Region and State of Florida. All new full affiliates must affiliate within the district where they physically reside, or in the district in which the majority of its players reside and/or physically play the majority of their home games. In addition, no new affiliation may be granted if the new affiliate’s home field is within a fifteen (15) mile radius of an existing FYSA affiliate, unless the new affiliate obtains the support of all existing FYSA affiliates within the specified radius.

So the new club or moving club (in case of FCA) would simply need to get the approval of GOU. With an area as lucrative as Lake Nona, you basically sit down with the DOC of GOU and offer them money to endorse the new club's affiliation with FYSA....and maybe kick in a new Tahoe for "team use". GOU is not interested in developing Lake Nona. They are an Osceola club and focus on the people from Kissemmee and St. Cloud. Even the Hunter's Creek team that moved there has already disbanded. It is a great local club with good support from the community.

Now if someone came in and wanted to start a Barca Penya, they would not even care about FYSA. The Barca way is not about winning leagues and playing 50 games a year. It would be a true development academy and they would probably go for US Club Soccer affiliation. Still a long shot as it would take "MagicJack Money" to make this work.

My best bet is a FCA relocation. Some of the parents will grouse about having to go to 417 to practice soccer, however, it is better than being homeless or playing on fields with no lights. IF (again big "if") FCA gets their act together, they would be right up there again with Rush and OC as a premier club in Central Florida. They would also not need to worry as much about growing membership as a new subdivision would be breaking ground every week with plenty of doctors moving in to the medical city.
