Wow should we start mentioning the wife's of fkk? What problems could they be? Maybe you should get married or at least take care of your own home life?

If the wife of an FKK coach got involved with soccer than maybe you should. If the wife was caught bad mouthing other players/coaches and parents than maybe you should.

If she was just being a mom and watching her kids than no you should leave her alone.

So fkk is now going after families with children to better their cause. So does that make them the caring child friendly club they claim to be? So far on this site, they have not only attack coaches and volunteers but their wife's, or multiply wife's, children and anyone who sides with Orlando city. I have read stuff on here that makes my stomach turn but this just solidifies for me that my kids will stay at OC or any other club not fkk. If I leave OC for any reason, I would drive to Saint Cloud before I drive to Shane Kelly and the "not home fields of fkk" central winds.

OC is on a recruiting mission. OC is trying to destroy FCA. FCA is a old club with deep roots in Central Florida. Does OC care?

I your an OC parent beware that OC is recruiting girls from FCA which in turn puts your daughter off the ECNL program. OC should concentrate on developing their own current children in purple not recruiting full teams from FCA. This is shameful.

They had tryouts this past weekend - well done
They had tryouts a week early last year and will do so again this year - well done
They are on probation for ECNL and DA - well done

You see everyone OC breaks a rule, lies or cheats on an almost daily basis. This is the real issue. Nobody has an issue with a youth soccer club that wants to compete, we all have issues with a youth soccer club that will do anything and everything to skirt the rules, break the rules and then turn around and tell you they are better than you

I am from OCYS. Not sure how you interpreted my post to be in support of the Coalition. I'll state my question a little differently - If it is OK for FKK to have games and practices within OCYS' 15 mile territory, why is the Coalition saying it is a violation of the 15 mile rule for OC to have games and practices within the other club's territories?

You may want to read OC's original proposal again. They absolutely were proposing starting new rec programs. Under Section 4, it says, "The County will allow the Team use of the following County Soccer Fields to operate its Free Youth Recreational Soccer Leagues (as more fully set forth in Section 7)." Section 7 (Recreational Leagues) says, "Starting upon the opening of each of the New Soccer Fields through the duration
of the Term, the Team will fund free recreational soccer leagues for youth ages 4 to
9 years old at each of the New Locations referred to in Section 4 above (the “Free
Youth Recreational Soccer Leagues”).

Team agrees to provide the Free Youth Recreational Soccer Leagues at no cost
to one hundred (100) participants each Season at each New Location."

They have a whole section devoted to Recreational Leagues, and you are saying they weren't going to start new rec leagues? I deliberately avoided saying that OCYS was going to start these leagues, because it isn't clear whether they intended to operate these leagues under OCYS, or whether they were planning to start a new entity under the pro club.

You are correct that these rec programs were intended to be for young kids who generally wouldn't be able to afford to pay to play at any of the existing clubs. And I think it is very hypocritical for people to say that OCYS was preventing kids from playing soccer with their opposition to FKK, and then to come back less than a year later and oppose free soccer programs for under-privileged kids. The FKK families have the resources to send their kids to play for any club in Central Florida. If FKK wouldn't have been formed, those kids would be playing at one of the other clubs. The kids the free rec programs were designed for don't have those resources. So who is actually guilty of preventing kids from playing soccer?

Nothing prevents OCYS from providing free soccer to anyone they wish. In fact, they are still required to do so under their agreement for $25mm in tax money. But OCYS was demanding fields and premium times to do fulfill the agreement.

The Orange County Commissioners saw through the ploy. Phil folded his tent. You can keep arguing as long as you like. Rest assured the next power grab will be vigorously opposed by the 7,000 families represented by the nine Coalition clubs.

OK. Let's be honest. There is no grand scheme by FKK. HM is a dumb soccer coach who could not balance a check book. You may love his development, you may think he knows the game better than anyone at OC, however, he ran CFK into massive debt and was so inept on club management that OC had to give him the boot. Now he convinces a few loyal CFK parents to help him build a new club and what does he do? First, violates the 15-mile rule. Who does that? Who is so stupid or arrogant or whatever you want to call it that they go ahead and break a rule right in the face of the club they left? And talk about gullible! What were the supposed soccer experienced parents thinking on the FKK board? Did HM give you assurances that FYSA would not uphold their own rules? That somehow FKK was special and would not need to abide by the same rules? And talk about going up and taunting the Lion at the cage!!! You knew OC had the resources to take this fight as far as they needed with FYSA. So that is what happened. OC challenged at the annual meeting and FKK was denied affiliation due to violation of the 5-mile rule. So what does HM and the BoD do? Why they strike a deal with Maitland to use their player passes for State Cup. Not to blend teams and play in the same leagues as Maitland. No, this is just for State Cup. It is a clear gaming of the FYSA rules and more sanctions are coming. Of course the propaganda war starts on TS with the accusations of OC trying to take over youth soccer when the truth is that HM had it in his plan back when he came to CFK. His plan was derailed when he thought he could run OC after he met with Phil and misjudged the man and his money. HM thought Phil would just let him run OCYS as he wished. The truth is that HM could not handle the size and scope of administering the merger of FSA and CFK. Kids went without uniforms. Not enough coaches. Simple gaffs made by the leadership, including HM, that he then flipped against the "Corporate English" as he was dismissed.

The truth is that HM is just a dumb jock who has no business anywhere near the front office. He stumbles at every turn, runs roughshod over regulations and literally spends more money than he takes in. This will lead to another ruinous turn for FKK and the parents who were duped into believing him.

So with HM gone we can assume OC has been running smoothly to date? LMAO

Phil has been in Orlando for thriee years and has not provided one ounce of free soccer. Phil will not and will not provide free soccer. What he will do is manipulate paperwork to make it look like he has done this but he never will.

-CDL was given to FKK - I may be mistaken, I thought CDL was an FYSA sanctioned league. Wasn't it Maitland that played CDL this year?
-FKK got a lease at Central Winds - Along with anyone else who asked.
-the County Commission denied their attempt to grab fields - In fact the offer to organize free soccer for under-priveleged kids was withdrawn in the face of hostility organized by FKK.
