OK. Let's be honest. There is no grand scheme by FKK. HM is a dumb soccer coach who could not balance a check book. You may love his development, you may think he knows the game better than anyone at OC, however, he ran CFK into massive debt and was so inept on club management that OC had to give him the boot. Now he convinces a few loyal CFK parents to help him build a new club and what does he do? First, violates the 15-mile rule. Who does that? Who is so stupid or arrogant or whatever you want to call it that they go ahead and break a rule right in the face of the club they left? And talk about gullible! What were the supposed soccer experienced parents thinking on the FKK board? Did HM give you assurances that FYSA would not uphold their own rules? That somehow FKK was special and would not need to abide by the same rules? And talk about going up and taunting the Lion at the cage!!! You knew OC had the resources to take this fight as far as they needed with FYSA. So that is what happened. OC challenged at the annual meeting and FKK was denied affiliation due to violation of the 5-mile rule. So what does HM and the BoD do? Why they strike a deal with Maitland to use their player passes for State Cup. Not to blend teams and play in the same leagues as Maitland. No, this is just for State Cup. It is a clear gaming of the FYSA rules and more sanctions are coming. Of course the propaganda war starts on TS with the accusations of OC trying to take over youth soccer when the truth is that HM had it in his plan back when he came to CFK. His plan was derailed when he thought he could run OC after he met with Phil and misjudged the man and his money. HM thought Phil would just let him run OCYS as he wished. The truth is that HM could not handle the size and scope of administering the merger of FSA and CFK. Kids went without uniforms. Not enough coaches. Simple gaffs made by the leadership, including HM, that he then flipped against the "Corporate English" as he was dismissed.

The truth is that HM is just a dumb jock who has no business anywhere near the front office. He stumbles at every turn, runs roughshod over regulations and literally spends more money than he takes in. This will lead to another ruinous turn for FKK and the parents who were duped into believing him.

Wrong. FKK was denied FYSA passes. They are hitching on Maitland to use their passes. It is ridiculous and should be addressed in the August meeting. They did not play any games for Maitland prior to State Cup and won't play any for Maitland after State Cup. It is a sham and clear middle finger to FYSA and their ruling denying FKK affiliation due to the 15-mile rule. Disgraceful.

Help me understand your problem with FKK partnering with Maitland. Didn't the original Krush club do this with FSA, WESA and CFU? Didn't hear people complaining about that then. Wasn't one of the main directors have a lot to do with that but now that he is a key player at OC, all of a sudden it's wrong.
Also, if the teams are as bad as you announce them to be, you should not be worried.
And the only club pointing the middle finger at FYSA is OC. They say one thing to their faces and another behind their back. FYSA is not stupid and I'm sure they are just as tired of the OC attorneys as the rest of the youth soccer world is. Disgraceful.

Read page two of your two-page website. Seriously? You take this fight to TS and don't even understand what the fight is about? Talk about a mob mentality. Go ahead and burn a cross at SSC will ya?

OC is not starting a rec program for their club. They are providing free soccer instruction and games to poor kids that live in the area. You know, the poor kids who can't afford your club. The poor kids who have never played soccer and do not show any potential to be on your premier competitive team. The time they requested is exclusive to their commitment to provide free soccer to poor children that will never be dues paying members of a soccer club. They are not interested in taking over your club and they could not care less about who gets time on the new fields that they are helping to maintain. They simply want to be able to meet their obligation to provide soccer outreach to children who do not have, nor will ever be able to afford, a youth soccer program.

By the way Coalition member, you do know the local YMCA does the same thing right? You do know, "no person is turned away due to inability to pay" is the YMCA mantra? I don't hear Coalition members talking about infringement by the local YMCAs on their 15-mile zone. I have not heard of an objection about providing free soccer to poor kids? Could it be that local clubs could care less about poor kids playing starter soccer at the local YMCA? Well, why do you care if OC provides the same thing?

When you look at it for what it truly is, you really have to conclude it is much ado about nothing. If you want to reach out to the poor and teach them soccer, nothing is holding you back and I am sure Commissioner Jacobs will be thrilled for you to step up and help grow soccer in the community free of charge. Still waiting for that announcement...

I am from OCYS. Not sure how you interpreted my post to be in support of the Coalition. I'll state my question a little differently - If it is OK for FKK to have games and practices within OCYS' 15 mile territory, why is the Coalition saying it is a violation of the 15 mile rule for OC to have games and practices within the other club's territories?

You may want to read OC's original proposal again. They absolutely were proposing starting new rec programs. Under Section 4, it says, "The County will allow the Team use of the following County Soccer Fields to operate its Free Youth Recreational Soccer Leagues (as more fully set forth in Section 7)." Section 7 (Recreational Leagues) says, "Starting upon the opening of each of the New Soccer Fields through the duration
of the Term, the Team will fund free recreational soccer leagues for youth ages 4 to
9 years old at each of the New Locations referred to in Section 4 above (the “Free
Youth Recreational Soccer Leagues”).

Team agrees to provide the Free Youth Recreational Soccer Leagues at no cost
to one hundred (100) participants each Season at each New Location."

They have a whole section devoted to Recreational Leagues, and you are saying they weren't going to start new rec leagues? I deliberately avoided saying that OCYS was going to start these leagues, because it isn't clear whether they intended to operate these leagues under OCYS, or whether they were planning to start a new entity under the pro club.

You are correct that these rec programs were intended to be for young kids who generally wouldn't be able to afford to pay to play at any of the existing clubs. And I think it is very hypocritical for people to say that OCYS was preventing kids from playing soccer with their opposition to FKK, and then to come back less than a year later and oppose free soccer programs for under-privileged kids. The FKK families have the resources to send their kids to play for any club in Central Florida. If FKK wouldn't have been formed, those kids would be playing at one of the other clubs. The kids the free rec programs were designed for don't have those resources. So who is actually guilty of preventing kids from playing soccer?

Actually they did have severe problems. CFK had some sanctioning actions put in place with fysa. It is part if the problem they have now.
