Save Now pay later model. I'd rather pay a little now have her go thru great experience with coaches and then after being developed save later with college costs. Makes way to much sense.

Sure OC positioned themselves for DA and ECNL but they did not earn those leagues. Orlando City is a pretender in youth soccer. Orlando City should stick to what they do best. Run a Professional men's soccer team. Orlando City should support all the local youth clubs that have produces Great kids and great players for 40 years.
Orlando City wants control of ALL fields in Orange County once they control Orange County Parks then a move on Seminole County and Osceola. Since OC membership is not increasing rather decreasing OC turns to politics.
Orlando City is working full-time on this mission of control. Why you may ask?
Big big business. Control of kids is money in OC pocket even if soccer is cheaper OC turns to sponsorships and continues to line their corporate pockets. Is OC operating as a 501c3?
Orlando City should stick to Professional soccer and run a development academy of 60 top boys.
This model is working for most all MLS clubs. This model works with all Europeans clubs.
This mission of 10,000 to 12,000 kids is wrong.
America is about choice but what can we expect from a businessman on a mission of control and greed.
Politics, marketing and media control= The OC Way!

I have to wonder before Orlando city, was every club not trying to monopolize soccer in central Florida. When hue came to town, was his goal to take over all the clubs? Orlando city is just doing what youth clubs do, they just have things to offer that we haven't had before. Whether you like how they got those things is pointless. The other thing that occurred to me is we always wanted outside coaches to come in and coach our kids, but now that is a bad thing too? Is that because we aren't getting our way? Things are changing but I think what a lot of central Florida people wanted was change that they could control but we are getting change and people are taking an interest in central Florida. Coaches actually want to come here and coach. If you are that good of a local coach, you shouldn't have to sell yourself or move around to keep your team. Maybe new coaches coming in are better or just the same but new and that scares a lot of the locals.

after reading the last few pages, I wouldn't want my kid playing at OC. That's a sick maniac posting in their name.

Are dinner reservation more important? I saw an OC mom jump up when the FCA girl hit the OC keeper. You would have thought that the OC keeper was stabbed. Hello......she was outside the box. No intent to injure but a 50/50 ball. You guys(parents) at OC amaze me.
FCA won. So what. These are U13 girls. The parents at OC and FCA need to get a grip.
Clearly, the primary sensory areas of the cerebral cortex have been damaged due to years of "human puffing". The evidence:
1.) The kids did show up to get their medals.
2.) Concerning dinner reservations, no one that I know of has dinner at 2:30pm.
3.) The hit between the goalie and the forward was very violent with either bracing themselves. Not less than 5 parents jumped up for the sheer concern that two kids lie on the pitch. To spin that a parent from either team jumped up in concern because one of the players was expected of dirty play has been deemed comical and completely erroneous.
A cat scan has been scheduled for this patient, and in the meantime, has been instructed to continue riding the Sybian for another 5 hours.
This has been the first installment of the Chat MD. Here to help make sense of it all.....
