The long extinguished fire in the trash receptacle at the Seminole Soccer Facility on Markam Woods Road has spontaneously reignited.

Orlando City Youth Soccer is a dumpster fire.

Wow! Ok, so now we know that this is indeed a FCA parent. So sad. First, it wasn't a waxing. Let's get that straight. FCA did win in PKs. OC had two starters out of the game before the half of regulation play. FCA had two guest players who had already competed in the CDL tournament on Saturday and Sunday and only came in at the Finals on Monday. Classy! Those two players played the entire final and took PKs while the players who pay for them to be on their team sat the bench. Classy and so sad.
Also OC goalie was bulldozed in overtime minutes before having to take the PKs.

Funny how not a word was mentioned on this sight a few weekends ago when OC did wax FCA 5-0. That is a waxing. And yes, FCA waxed OC 4-0 in their pre-season Classic. Just stop! OC parents never come on this sight and brag. At least not the u13 parents. Why are you so bitter? Did your daughter not make OC's team originally?

The only reason OC didn't get to the awards presentation was because 3 of its players headed quickly out to Jewett. We play as a team and represent as a team.

By the way, OC won all of their games before the finals. Did FCA? NO, because their guest players were in Tampa.

Please stop living vicariously through your child! Let all of these girls play soccer. They are all good girls with a lot of talent. Stop inciting negativity between the teams. You never know, one day they may play on the same team.

No, my daughter did not try out for the team this year, however her and many of her teammates will be playing on the team next year. It's a done deal, but you wouldn't know that. Lol. You're just trying to put the worst possible spin on it. Stetson and St. Leo are good schools, and OCYS is building relationships with the coaching staffs to become an important part of the ECNL network.

Not everyone is interested in UCF and Florida State.

No offense to either schoo, but they are both within 90 miles.

You need to play in ECNL with all of the expense and travel to get the attention and engagement of these programs in your backyard?

OC you have the best girls. You play in the best league. I wish you nothing but the best. But PLEASE stop recruiting girls from other teams. STOP. Develop your own talent. Rush and FCA are not up to your standards so why do you keep recruiting our girls. DT and CM you should spend more time training and less time trying to replace yoru own girls with girls from other clubs. What message does that send to the players and parents at your own club.

We are not FYSA so we are not subject to poaching rules that protect your membership. If we are talking to one of your members, you should be honored that you have such a great plater. You really did not think they would stay with you through high school did you?

We have kids that travel from Melbourne, Tampa, Ocala and even West Palm. We are the next level. YOU are playing in the feeder clubs. Learn to live with that and aspire to one day play here. It is not OC beating our chest. It is the business model of ECNL. Had FKK been able to take it with them, HM would be beating the bushes looking for new talent. That is the only way you can compete nationally. You need to quit viewing club soccer like it is some fraternal organization you join for life. FCA is not the Moose Lodge.

The whole point is to recruit talent. Why can't you FKKrazies understand that? Let me say it again slower for you. If HM, your fearless leader and grandmaster of soccer development, had the ECNL program he would be relentlessly recruiting right now and every day. ECNL tells their member clubs to find the best of the best. Nobody on your roster would be safe. Learn to live with it loser. There is no poaching in US Club Soccer. "Poaching" is a term FYSA came up with so clubs could operate in the same market without constantly feuding over players. There are only 2 ECNL clubs in Florida and we can talk to anyone we want. Get this straight. We are coming to your tournaments and talking to the parents of your best players and we will be taking them away from you. Deal with it.

Yes. The ECNL players just signed are going to schools like Stetson, Nova, USF, St. Leo. So what? these are good schools and everyone is proud of their accomplishments. I think it's great that the OCYS ECNL staff is reaching out to these schools. not every player wants ACC.

but since we're talking about ECNL (girls), it's actually FKK 20- OCYS 12. But we know you're avoiding that factoid. You'd think 'the best club with the best league" would do better than the little startup down the road.

What happened? Why did OCYS ECNL do no better than the "regular" clubs in signing girls?
