Wow! Ok, so now we know that this is indeed a FCA parent. So sad. First, it wasn't a waxing. Let's get that straight. FCA did win in PKs. OC had two starters out of the game before the half of regulation play. FCA had two guest players who had already competed in the CDL tournament on Saturday and Sunday and only came in at the Finals on Monday. Classy! Those two players played the entire final and took PKs while the players who pay for them to be on their team sat the bench. Classy and so sad.
Also OC goalie was bulldozed in overtime minutes before having to take the PKs.

Funny how not a word was mentioned on this sight a few weekends ago when OC did wax FCA 5-0. That is a waxing. And yes, FCA waxed OC 4-0 in their pre-season Classic. Just stop! OC parents never come on this sight and brag. At least not the u13 parents. Why are you so bitter? Did your daughter not make OC's team originally?

The only reason OC didn't get to the awards presentation was because 3 of its players headed quickly out to Jewett. We play as a team and represent as a team.

By the way, OC won all of their games before the finals. Did FCA? NO, because their guest players were in Tampa.

Please stop living vicariously through your child! Let all of these girls play soccer. They are all good girls with a lot of talent. Stop inciting negativity between the teams. You never know, one day they may play on the same team.

You say the U13 parents don't brag but immediately after comment you ask poster why so bitter and suggest their kid tried out for OCYS and didn't make team implying your daughter is better which is bragging! Stop making excuses and accept that you lost. Fact is there are some kids and parents on both teams that don't like each other so don't assume these girls from FCA are looking to join up with OCYS next year. And next time show up to the awards ceremony win or lose and show some class.

what spin, why don't you look at the list of college coaches attending, and then tell me that I got my $125 worth when only a few showed. They are building relationships with who? What coaches? Those relationships weren't very good, or they just flat out lied about who would be there.

OC you have the best girls. You play in the best league. I wish you nothing but the best. But PLEASE stop recruiting girls from other teams. STOP. Develop your own talent. Rush and FCA are not up to your standards so why do you keep recruiting our girls. DT and CM you should spend more time training and less time trying to replace yoru own girls with girls from other clubs. What message does that send to the players and parents at your own club.

So did your whole team go to Jewitt to represent? If not, did they go home to represent? What kind of BS is that!?! 3 girls go to jewitt so the remaining 13 or so don't have to show good sportsmanship at the award ceremony? Wow, don't know who is worse, the coaching staff for failing to teach the girls good sportmenship or the parents for allowing it. Clearly this group is made for each other. Honestly, I am not an unreasonable person. I have no bone in the fight between OCYS and FKK. I understand the bitterness but it doesnt mean there cant be a good dialogue. Not trying to convince the guy of anything. I just disagree with him and explained why. He disagreed with me but never really explained why and he doesnt have to. We can both agree to disagree but I was never disrepectful to him or anyone on this website and can have a dialogue where folks disagree without name calling.

Club ID camps are pretty much useless IMO. Many times clubs hold these things and the coaches do not really want to be there. The same will be the case when FKK or any other club holds their ID camp. Players should research the schools and pick 10 or so that they feel they would be happy with that are realistic. Once they have that list they should contact the coaches and go to their ID camps and make unofficial visits. It takes a lot of work but its necessary. Giving the coach your game schedule always helps or tournaments so they can coordinate with other recruits they may be looking at. That is one of the reasons why ECNL is so good because if the coach is already going to be at an event they may be more inclined to come watch a player that will be at the same event. Same thing goes for the larger NON-ECNL tournaments. Most colleges do not advertise their ID camps. They are not "invite only" but they basically send the player an email saying that on this date and this time the ID camp will be on the website. "sign up quickly because the slots will fill and it will be closed after X number of slots". So basically colleges get around the "invite only" rule by notifying the players they want to come then "advertising it" and closing it quickly so they dont get scrubs signing up. If you talk to a coach and the coach is interested then you will get a chance at the ID camps.

A relationship with Stetson or St. Leo or Nova is equally important to some girls. Not everyone can go to UNC. Maybe OC is trying to appeal to a specific market by creating relationships with those schools instead of ACC or SEC. $125 isn't bad. you should be glad your player got that exposure.

the coach who ruins it for the children, it is the parents. Look no further than OC vs FCA this past weekend. OC you can make all the excuses in the world but the bottom line is that you should win with class and lose with class. The game was a tough game between girls who are friends.

The girls not showing up is driven by the parents and coaches. Look at the social media sites and FCA gilrs are being destroyed. It is the parents job to teach their kids (both clubs) on how to act with grace. Posting stuff online only makes Central Florida soccer look bad. Both teams are solid teams and both teams should be proud of what they both hae accomplished this year and all the years that they have played soccer.

I do believe OC will attract lots of players at tryouts in May. But once the season starts some will be asking for "Early Dismissal". Some people just have to go figure it out for themselves. Nothing you can say on TS. They have to walk in the proverbial "shoe" to understand.
