It's a showcase. We had some girls playing positions they've never played before because certain coaches asked to see them there. Sure you want to win but it's more about "showcasing" the girls than any talking soccer agendas. 20 minutes than switch. You'd never do that any other time.

So sick of this nonsense. Numerous boys and girls have been contacted by colleges after CASL. I don't think they colleges really care who wins the games as long as the team and players show well.

So, one last time moron, the coaches don't care about CLUB development, there looking for TALENTED players... So you can be an OK player on a undefeated TEAM and not even be considered, or be a Good player on a bad team and be picked. SO once again it comes back to the PLAYER's record and skill not the TEAMS... so keep watching OCYS scores and see where that gets you.

They must be holding seminars to get you to rationalize so effectively. Yeah OCYS has this amazing development and recruiting program. About 4 u18s committed to local schools. Haven't heard any u17s getting the nod, even though it's peak recruiting time for them.. Word has spread.

I don't know but here is an observation and if I am a parent at OCYS think about it...

During CASL trip why were your girls at OCYS not sitting with each other? Where was the laughter? Wins and losses aside, this is a team sport where life long relationships are built and you sat alone or with parents.

It is nice to say ECNL. It's a status deal and it does mean you can play the game. Better than all? No but who is?

Did you notice the FKK shuffle where the kids ditched parents to be with their team? There is a reason entire teams departed together and it isn't about status. It's about the team, enjoying each other, and opportunity. As you can tell, ECNL does provide opportunity but FKK does as well.

It is an atmosphere. Family and friends and it's what we thought was lacking and why we joined FKK with not so much as a league to play in. Getting told to pound salt all the time contributed but Wont go negative. FKK promised nothing and delivered big time and look forward to another couple seasons.

It was just something I observed. Maybe I am wrong but if you are objective and noticed how the FKK girls interacted with each other there seemed to be a difference. I for one hope I am wrong as these kids should be having fun regardless of a score.

You love OCYS that's great maybe it is working for you. Just know you have options and opportunity. If you don't like FKK for some reason, at least recognize the value of having another option close to home. Good luck.

While OC faces its challenges Fkk is not as good as originalky thought either. There seems to be no room for anyone to bash nor brag here.
