I don't care what all the other clubs her age are doing I am focusing on her future as other parents need to do. I wish all the girls in central Florida good luck

[QUOTE=Unregistered;1107352]I am the author of the referenced post. I am completely calm. There's no need to read emotion into what I wrote.
I don't have an ax to grind with OCYS. It is clear, however, that the club should take an action to put to rest any speculation concerning this incidenmt. It seems to me common sense to dismiss the coach, apologize to the ref, and to use the entire thing as a teaching moment.
The club could position itself as a leader and serious about its reputation and position in the community. I'm amazed that even a day would pass without official action and comment.[/QUOTE
I would say with the article posted on the OCYS site, they are doing just that. Their actions seem responsible for this incident.

"Comment"? *** do you think the club should do? Buy full-page ad space in the Orlando Sentinel and issue a statement to the world?
You're an idiot.
In answer to your question, OCYS has been quite ready in the past to make "comment" on its website and through email to members (which then quickly disseminates to the general public). For instance the infamous "setting the record straight" memo by Phil earlier this year is a good example.
For a group that has demonstrated an overheated desire to self-promote the positives about the club, it is proving absolutely tone-deaf when it comes to damage control and leadership through messaging.
Just because you don't understand fundamentals of business communication and branding doesn't make me an idiot.
