How dare they nmot consult your engineering and site development / project management wisdom first?!! It's outrageous!

Well they are right. I will tell you right now it isn't going to be a top of the art fancy stadium. For $85m all your going to get is a structure with some bleachers more than likely. Anybody know if they are going to use concrete or they going the cheaper route and it will it be more like the UCF football stadium?

I am not sure that MSL will thrive in Florida. But if there is a market for it in both Orlando and Miami why the fight. It is not like they are close to each other so why not in time try for both.

300 million in New York and you wonder why Orlando thinks they could build it for less. Guess you never watched the Sopranos.

No fight. MLS very much wants 2 franchises in Florida.

In Miami, Beckham needs to get his act together with a local partner and get busy with a stadium plan. MLS doesn't like FIU and SunLife Stadium will need significant renovations.

Not to worry. When MLS completes expansion to 24 franchises, Orlando and Miami will be in MLS.

                      Comparing apples to oranges.

$300 million for a stadium in NYC include the cost of land. The $85 million for Phase I of Orlando stadium is construction cost only.

The answer: They won't build it for that price. the project will increase after the City is committed. That's a guarantee.

If the Team can't hang the additional cost around the city's neck, they'll peddle more naming rights and advertising rights to private investors to raise capital. It won't come out of Phil's pocket at all.

You've been bashing this tournament since it had 30-ish teams listed. You predicted cancellation. You predicted all OCYS teams.

At what point do you admit defeat? Everyone is laughing at you.

                                Okay, I admit it:

Oralndo City has "defeated" me by managing to not cancel yet another tournament, and pressing ahead despite having almost 40% of the registered teams from its own club, no viable brackets for girls u15-u18 and boys u17-u18, and shrewdly morphing the whole thing into a short-sided u13 intraclub scrimmage.

                                Well-played, City. Well-played.
