You're right about one thing- you don't know (quite a bit). have you ever spoken with HM personally? Obviously not. I suggest rather than swallow the South Florida rumor mill that alledges he made "promises" to anyone you find out first hand facts. Stop slandering a good man you know nothing about.

I've been privy to a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that went on with the OCYS / FKK split, and HM's activities since. I'm sorry, no experience I've had of this man would indicate he either has the kids at heart, or that he's a good person.

Not slandering but our doc has had conversations with him about helping them out and in turn helping us get ecnl. What concerns me is that apparently that conversation has happened to other Miami clubs. If we were it, I wouldn't be on here but apparently we are one of many being told we are on the path to ecnl as is boca too but we all one that was unlikely.

What started as "HM promised us ECNL" is now "our doc has had conversations with him about helping them out and in turn helping us get ecnl."

I saw a report on local Fox last night where a councilman is questioning the funding for the stadium. He wants to dig into the numbers deeper. The report cited three MLS teams that paid for there own stadiums without tax dollars (or at least minimal tax dollars)- Houston, Washington DC and (I think) Seattle.

I wonder if these cities/states even have availability of a Tourist Tax fund? Apparently, a privately-funded stadium CAN BE built- but since the fund is available, apparently Phil prefers public tax money.

Nobody from FKK is asking any coach/parent, etc to write a letter to try and get in the way of Orlando City getting an MLS team. I know that for 100% fact. In fact many of the FKK group is very supportive of getting and MLS team yes even HM is supportive. Heck I plan on getting season tickets if Orlando is awarded a team.

Why do people have to stoop that low and make stuff up like that? I know your hiding behind a keyboard, but show a little class and integrity.
