FKK threatened lawsuits against OC and ECNL and as such, created the biggest dramatic event in the history of Orlando .... And trust me. I do not say that lightly as this place is crazy. Now OC has kept pretty low keyed through most of this. Well pretty much up until they hired Alan Hough. Now that OC has let these guys hang themselves people are blaming OC. Nothing you Krazies have the audacity to bitch about surprises me even when it's something you yourselves do daily.

The bottom line is if FKk or OC hasn't done anything wrong they have nothing to fear and the way OC is moving these days it doesn't look as if they are scared.

Your misinformed my friend. The only lawyers fkk have involved in this process were to protect themselves they never threatened ecnl or oc. OC has deep pockets and a marketing organization from the pro side so now my question is how exactly is ocys affording all this legal action. I know it's coming from the pro side and have to wonder how much they are spending and how that same money could benefit the kids in their own organization.

Once again oc is showing where their priorities are. Win at all cost all while ignoring the little things. In this case the kids and families that committed to them could probably benefit from all this money spent on high priced attorneys.

I was firmly on the fence. Still an oc pro supporter and season ticket holder. I can no longer support the pro organization. I hate large corps who throw their weight around all while trying to make themselves look innocent. I paid for my tickets already so I'll go to the games that I can't sell the tickets for but I for one will not be renewing my 6 season tickets for next year.

Do you really think people from England, Spain, Brazil, or any other country around the world are traveling to the United States to watch an MLS game? Really?

I have run several exonomic impact studies around the country. one thing you should know is that every impact study is full of fluff. We grasp for the moon to make it enticing. half the shiit doesnt even come true and after its all said and done no one cares about all the BS crap that was written. The economic impact of MLS in Orlando is insignificant. He'll if you have to exageratte just to pull a 6 figure impact the project isn't even worth considering.

One can assume that Miami will get an MLS franchise so even if Orlando gets a Franchise as well. Now you have two franchises 3.5 hours from each other trying to attract visitors. Not sure about you but If I'm coming from Brazil I'd rather head to Miami then Orlando. Disney is worth a visit for a day but if my soccer team is playing down south I'm heading south and will drive to disney for a couple of days.

I'll add that Atlanta is a player in this as well and from what I read appear to already have funding in place although for a football/soccer combo stadium. Not sure if that will fly with MLS but they appear to be further along than Orlando.

February 2011 - OCYS announces Greg Brick who is a DOC at CFK at the time is their Technical Director.
March of 2011 - OCYS announces Super Y tryouts and posts the list of coaches which is completely CFK coaches with the exception of a few.
The begin telling everyone that the boys are all leaving CFK and moving to OCYS.

Does this sound in the least bit familiar? Some will say that CFK hasn't tried to work things out but the reality the fact that OCYS did this and were basically attempting to destroy CFK and the CFK still agreed to a merger shows otherwise.

Now that a faction has as you say had enough and has gone out on their own and followed a blueprint which is strikingly similar to the one OCYS followed a year earlier somehow now it's a problem...
