I think all those clubs have fields and a market. They aren't competing for the same fields and kids like fkk is to Orlando City. It is an fkk fight and they are trying to convince everyone else they are being threatened. If you are gou, you aren't worried about losing all your kids probably just a couple to DA. Most parents, especially in the younger age groups aren't going to drive far. Fkk and maitland are concerned because they are so close to Orlando city.

Then why did FKK locate their club so close? They violated the 15-mile rule and had their FYSA affiliation denied. The whole reason for this rule was to allow clubs the opportunity to grow within their community and discourage poaching. So what does HM and the board do? They declare Central Winds as their home fields thus infringing on OCYS territory. 5 miles. All they had to do was move east 5 miles and they would have FYSA affiliation and would not need to compete under Maitland player passes.

OC Please STOP trying to put a wedge between Maitland and FKK. These two groups are working together to build soccer. They board members are doing what is right for kids.

Nobody is trying to put a wedge between FKK and Maitland. They sewed their fortunes together when Maitland allowed FKK to play under their passes after FKK was denied affiliation by FYSA. It is a matter under investigation by the FYSA board and will be addressed in August at the meeting. It is sad to see Maitland get pulled into this as they have been around a long time and great GCF club. Most of their players leave after middle school and play for FCA, Rush or OC. Perhaps they felt the need to bring in the FKK ringers to give them a shot at State Cup glory. Unfortunately this dirty deal will cost them dearly in FYSA sanctions.

The FKK ringers? The FKK girls deserve a shot at state cup. OC tried to deny them the chance to play soccer. Maitland gave them the opportunity to play. Simple as that. Is big bad OV going after Maitland now? Nice.

Wrong. FKK was denied FYSA passes. They are hitching on Maitland to use their passes. It is ridiculous and should be addressed in the August meeting. They did not play any games for Maitland prior to State Cup and won't play any for Maitland after State Cup. It is a sham and clear middle finger to FYSA and their ruling denying FKK affiliation due to the 15-mile rule. Disgraceful.

Actually what should be addressed is behavior by a sort of club that hated everyone 2 years and would have stomped on maitland, fca or any other club for that matter. Now they are being nice and submissive to appear to want to work with other clubs. It will only last until they get fysa status and can do what they want then game on to these other clubs. They won't take down Orlando City, it is on a different path with Mls and DA etc. however they can be the best second club and try to take over or at least control all these other clubs. By uniting them now against a cause, they can swoop in when OC still has Mls and academy stuff going etc for the kill.

FKK didn't declare Central Winds as their home field they declared Shane Kelly. All but about 10 yards of one field at Seminole is outside of 15 miles. Might want to stop listening to propaganda Team Purple is feeding you.
