Yes Rush and OC players are sometimes invited to train with the DA teams. Boys from both clubs did it last season.

There was a boy on the OCYS U17 2nd team last year that ended up training with the U16 DA, and they ended up bringing him on as a full time player. I believe he ended up as one of their top scorers. Don't get me wrong, there are often some politics involved in DA picks, but if kids work hard there may be some opportunities there.

Why would CM want to leave? Surely he had to have interviewed prior to tryouts. Wonder if any of the patents that were trying out for his teams as determined by coaching list were aware of his plans? Seems shady to me.

I think the U17 white team coach was TR. He is one of the coaches that is leaving for FKK.

From another thread. I think this is the best answer to your concerns. They no longer have anything to do with your club so it is not about them any longer. Good luck.


Why are you so angry the girls left? They were terrible so there is no need to lament their departure. They did what you all wanted them to do. They are now gone, along with the horrible parents. So. Quit with the blame game. It is all up to you and your club at this point.

It is no longer the fault of the director who actually brought ECNL to OCYS.

From this point forward it is all on your shoulders. I am sure that since you have been so quick to trash the aforementioned participants, you will be able to do much better. Many will be watching your scores and hopefully will take the high road when you get trampled. You have no idea what you are in for. Truly, best of luck on so many levels.

if the goal was to get parents to not sign on dotted line then this would have done earlier in the week if not sooner as most of us have already signed on the dotted line. I think there could be more to this rumor but certainly not an attempt to get kids to go to a different club. Could it be somebody stirring the pot to create drama, certainly that could be true.

Having CM as a coach would have been enough for me not to sign on the dotted line.
