Why are you so angry the girls left? They were terrible so there is no need to lament their departure. They did what you all wanted them to do. They are now gone, along with the horrible parents. So. Quit with the blame game. It is all up to you and your club at this point.
It is no longer the fault of the untalented girls who left.
It is no longer the fault of the trouble parents.
It is no longer the fault of the coaches who were supposedly sabotaging the program.
It is no longer the fault of the director who actually brought ECNL to OCYS.

From this point forward it is all on your shoulders. I am sure that since you have been so quick to trash the aforementioned participants, you will be able to do much better. Many will be watching your scores and hopefully will take the high road when you get trampled. You have no idea what you are in for. Truly, best of luck on so many levels.

I can't wait to throw this in your face next June when ECNL is finishing a good year and HM is long gone from FKK leaving even more debt and some very angry parents trying to pay the creditors. He has run out of people in Orlando to bail him out. He will be in Texas by January 2014.

Good Riddance OCYS

What an absolutely dysfunctional cluster......you know what... of a club. The "premiere" teams rosters are filled by people who could afford to pay. Doesnt matter the level of skill of the player. We had 2 girls that NEVER played soccer! WTH!! That was just one of about 50 on my list.

Anyone else have issues with them?

Practice with the Academy?

A kid my son knows said he is going to practice with the academy team so he will not be playing with us this season. He is not on the team but they said he could practice with them. Are they feeding him a line of bull or is this something that happens?

Yes Rush and OC players are sometimes invited to train with the DA teams. Boys from both clubs did it last season.

it's unfortunate for the girls side. Too few quality girls remain being forced to play ECNL and what is left over is merging age groups to play purple. This whole FKK thing really isn't good for girls soccer and just ruined something that could have worked. Things like this take some time. We just took 3 steps back, thanks HM.

Although I disagree with the opinion, I wont result to calling anyone an idiot. I am not that disrespectful if differing opinions and not a coward that hides behind a computer. What happened to days that we could debate and agree to disagree? I feel sorry for you.

That being said, I agree that ocys ruined it. Teams were already combining and the caliber of players on so called premiere teams was low. Seriously, players were on some premiere teams that never played the game before! I think FKK is great for the area for the exact same reasons the second poster thinks its not. Is it a coincidence that a majority purple and white players went to FKK? I had to know.

Two of my daughters former coaches never even showed for ocys tryouts I thought that spoke volumes. When I saw them later at FKK I had to get the lowdown. THey dont coach anymore but wouldnt let their kids tryout for ocys.

I also spoke to the GM of FKK and let him know a lot of my concerns with ocys and that I wrote and called a couple times to voice concerns with the way things were being handled. (most parents just removed their kids before the second premiere season leaving all but a handful of girls left.......I guess parents dont get the team concept either sometimes) He laughed and said, " let me guess you got no response." wow...just wow. This is someone who worked closely with ocys.

I think anyone should ask themselves why would a lot of administrators and most of the best coaches leave ocys to bring back FKK (CFK)? Probably because hey had a better product and saw ocys screw it up after the merge.

Its not like the merge with CFK left girls soccer with a bunch of inexperienced administrators. There is a problem when a club thinks they are the only game in town and doesnt take care of its customers. Believe it or not thats what we are....customers. The product wasnt there. Im not sure things should have been this bad. The second season was worse. The merging of age groups was happening already.
