The incident was not "by Orlando City", rather the incident was by by a deranged individual coaching an OCYS team.

Such deplorable behavior by ANY coach certainly would be, or at least should be an embarrassment to ANY club.

Let's assume you're employed (or contracted-for-hire) with ABC Company. ABC Company provides its employees and its contract-for-hire affiliates with it's Code of Conduct along with the company's expectation regarding adherence to the Code as well as consequences for non-compliance.

One day ABC Company's Joe Employee (or Joe Contract-For-Hire) has a "loosened screw" and violently attacks a fellow employee, customer, etc. (or fails in some other way to adhere to the Code of Conduct).

Whereas some of those with a pre-existing negative attitude toward ABC Company might attempt to use the incident to blemish all of ABC Company, only a fool would project Joe's abnormal behavior onto the entirety of ABC Company before all the facts are available.

Let's wait for ALL the facts, including OCYS' and FYSA's ensuing responses to the incident, before "throwing the baby (coach of inapproprite behavior) out with the bath water (OCYS)".

You Fkker's are just gushing with glee over this unfortunate incident aren't you? Obviously the coach is off his rocker and needs to be removed from the team, but come on, the comments about this reflecting on the club as a whole are over the top. You should all learn a little restraint and just hope the same doesn't happen at your club.

That isn't making excuses for bad behavior. That is placing responsibility for the bad behavior where it belongs - with the coach. No one is defending the coach. He should be held responsible for his actions. Unless there was something in his past that OCYS knew about or should have known about that indicated that he was likely to do something like this, then OCYS' responsibility for the actions occurring is very limited. I would say the same thing if this had happened at another club.

I wonder if a personal injury attorney would agree that "OCYS' responsibility for the actions occurring is very limited".

I've never seen this guy before. He must of stole his coaching polo broke into the office signed himself up as a coach and registered his team. I swear I swear I swear, I never ate the cookie I never did this I never did that. oh thats a good deal' we will take the credit for that.

Anything bad is HM fault or FKK. Can't be OC. Funny truth is that FKK would not hire this coach that OC took under it's wing. The coach was a nut job. Kraze-Krush recognized the situation and held off on hiring him. OC did did not have the experience so they brought him in recognized him as a coach gave him a team practice location coaching polo and support the coaches goes Ape and now OC turns a blind eye and says we never knew him he's an impostor.

Embarrassing but expected management style by a group of class-less leaders.

It's not OCYS, or an OCYS coach, or an assault on a referee that required law enforcement to intervene, or an ugly incident that further stains youth soccer.

It's the FKK troll.

It's simple OC just stop choking refs. Stay out of arms way by doing the right thing. Manage your coaches daily. Hold regular staff meeting to help those coaches see the light. It's really not that complicated and for pete's sake do not hire guys that strangle refs.

This was an ugly situation this weekend to witness 4 Winter Springs officers and a Florida State Trooper. The Orlando City coach hand cuffed and brought to jail for choking a referee. At least 100/125 kids watching this. All the games stopped. 3 fields on shut down with second group of children ready to play so you figure at least 6 full teams and parents.

In the works is a deal for an $85 million stadium, with $30 million coming from the team.

To make sure the stadium doesn't run in the red, the agreement will require Orlando City Soccer to write the city a "break even" check at the end of any year there's a shortfall. That's one area where the contract differs from the Magic's deal at the Amway Center, which has no such provision. The team also has agreed to pay cost overruns if the stadium construction goes over budget.

The agreement calls for a 25-year lease. If the soccer club skips town and moves to another city, the owners would have to pay back a portion of public funds spent to build the stadium. The payback amount is still being negotiated, but it would be a prorated amount that decreases the longer they remain in Orlando.

Stadium comparisons show that the Orlando City owners would make the second-highest private contribution of any team, at more than $100 million, once an estimated $70 million franchise fee to join the league is factored in.

What is really sad is that you again try to make this about OC. The earlier poster who said it was like trying to blame the navy for the actions of one man is absolutely correct.

Just a crazy thought but if OCYS was a little smart and less selfish they could of played this match at their own complex were they could of controlled the situation and coach possibly with a field marshall. Instead in an effort to block Florida Kraze Krush from full use of Central winds Park they schedule and keep a foot in the door at Central Winds park play their un managed game at CWP without a field Marshall and now a Media Nightmare occurs. OC now has to pay for the fields at Central winds which they really do not need and also deal with this situation.

OCYS this is your doing and well deserved publicity for your selfish behavior.

FKK held tryout in the Outfields of Baseball fields with 400 kids while OCYS held up Central Winds main soccer fields A, B, C and D. OCYS had 12 plus fields at their main campus but again selfish reasons locked up the fields and sadly only had an estimated 25-30 kids at Central winds tryouts.

You can't make up this stuff yes this happened.
