I'm just hoping for the best this season as the problem girls in my age group have gone elsewhere. Hopefully the girls that have stayed will prove themselves.

ECNL is competitive not developmental. Girls would have already stepped up and if you will use purple team players just be ready for a long year.

It is good the problem girls are gone so at least there is opportunity for you and others.

We will be ok long term maybe.

Please dont concern yourself on this matter each team has at least 20 girls.

Not concerned. 20 average players at least when you sub there isn't a drop off in talent!

Yes I agree. I am a state cup player and I have never wanted to play at the level that ECNL provides. That being said, I suppose that it's a good thing to have for girls interested. I believe that there aren't many girls in the area that can really excel in the ECNL program aside from a select few.

As far as the 16s go in OCYS (myself being one of them), our teams have more than enough players to compete in the FPL and ECNL. Throughout the season, OCYS plans to have the 15s and 16s on both purple and ECNL guest play with each other to further develop the players.

That's what they said and what I believe. It could be either a good thing or a bad thing, considering that there is some good talent on both teams but it would be senseless to combine them into one giant team because of the age difference. I can't wait for the season.

Good luck this season. But remember what you've been told about 'guest playing" between Purple and ECNL, and observe carefully whether it actually happens.

Thank you! It's a refreshing change to see adults acting like adults on this thread compared to others I've heard about from friends. I wish the best to each club and to all of my friends who are playing for FSA, OCYS, and FKK.

Yes indeed. Having played in the area for a long time, many of my friends have switched clubs throughout the past few years and are now scattered.

Same with my kids- lots of friends among many clubs- although none with FSA. I'm familiar only with FKK and OCYS. Would you say your friends are satisfied with the experience at FSA?

Most of my friends that have played there tended to like it and have stayed. Since it's a smaller group of people in the club, it must be more close-knit and mustn't have as much drama from what I can tell. Seems pretty decent from what my friends have said.

The cabinet is empty if OCYS has to do this. Those two levels should not be interchangeable.
