Why is everyone trying to rationalize HM s role? It says "Director of Soccer Operations". It then says what he will be doing. He will have a big role at OCYS. Get over it.

Sounds like odyssey getting this right. Ah over all of it, hm over ecnl and day to day ops, and bp doing the administration. Gb will weasel his way into something but most people know he is in way over his head.

Appointing HM is anything in that club is a big mistake. HM tahnks for some of the great things you did but you are one of the most unliked and undesirable folks that I know. You are not even worthy of having a job in the concession stand.

I disagree completely. HM took a personal interest in my kids and was instrumental in the college recruitment process. When my daughter tore her ACL, he was the only one from the club or her team to come over and visit after surgery. He is brutely honest and tough but underneath it all, he cares about the players and Central Florida soccer.

Those who know him agree and understand. FL has changed as a state thanks to HM. Guys like gs, bh, gb, rg, etc have been in Orlando for years and couldn't do what hm did in 2 years. He works harder, knows more people and has more playing and coaching experience and he has actually produced results.

People had negative things to say aout bringing eq from tx. Eq has revolutionized both of those teams. They have beaten ecnl teams and he has them both in the final 4.

Some will get on I'm sure, pretend to be a disgruntled CFK person or make fun of hm in shorts, but look at the results and their petty poor attempts at bashing will be put into perspective.

I've unfortunately read this trash for weeks. I've not posted until now and just couldn't help myself.

We totally agree. We were at a showcase tournament and a young lady who played at Texas A&M spoke to the girls and told them hm was her biggest soccer influence in her life and that hm was the only coach would call and ask advice when things were tough.

Are you blind and deaf or just a glutton for punishment? You can't walk ten feet around a soccer field without tripping over someone who doesn't care for HM. Some reasons may not be legit but it doesn't change the masses. You can make all the posts on here you want because it isn't like it's a secret that's going to change because of talking -soccer. If fact I dare say nothing is really affected by talking soccer except a few egos getting bruised.

He got demoted. Just a few days ago he was listed as "Director of Coaching". Now he's "Technical Director". That sounds like a made up job to get him out of the room.

GB was never put into that position as an interim person as the article says, that was supposed to be his role in the new club. What happened? If anything AH is being put there until they can find someone else to fill it. He would have been over GB anyway, but he is hardly one to be DOC over a youth club. I think he probably has more important things to be doing and not enough time in the day to do both. There will be someone else announced at some point for that position, don't know when but sooner or later. So since he wasn't supposed to be in that position, probably the OP is right about it being made up. He is a fine coach, he has done good things with the kids he coaches, I think that would be a better fit for him than DOC anyway.

Give me a break folks. CFK was not that broken. It was thriving and continues to do well. Younger age groups doing well and many age groups moving forward in state cup. Top club in Florida. Maybe the folks that started CFK- Kraze- Krush just want to see things continue to move forward. Maybe they feel they have gone far enough and trust that OC and the new leadership group will take things to even greater places. Everyone needs to relax. A few key members of CFK have been real low key about all of this and seem to be very happy with changes. They have the structure I have always heard them talk about. Don't think they were ever in in for money but just the right structure. I don't seem to see them try to protect or get one bit territorial. I even asked one of the DOC's that very question and he said he was happy to pass the torch on and simply be part of the new club if needed. Hope he sticks around because he along with other coaches are the reason this club has done so well. These guys get beat up on these talking soccer sites. I guess when your in the public eye it comes with the territory. I feel we should all thank them for building a club and then passing it on with zero issue.

The role of a DOC takes a bit of work . DOC's like HM and JA are on the field nightly working with teams; I assume the new DOC will do the same.As for GB well that's another story. He seems to care about his teams only and sorry but that's not a DOC. Should a DOC even coach a team? I personally do not think it makes sense.

EQ has 3 teams why is the other team not in final 4. It takes talented kids and a talented coach. Don't kid yourself those other two teams going to final 4 had a base of 12-13 players handed over and then were tweaked with 2 -4 even stronger players. It takes both; stop kidding yourself.

Give me a break folks. CFK was not that broken. It was thriving and continues to do well. Younger age groups doing well and many age groups moving forward in state cup. Top club in Florida. CFK was broken. All of those successful teams were leaving. It's not like it was a secret. You people keep reaching no matter how obvious it is. Easy to have no shame in here I guess.
