Orlando City -merges CFK and FSA

At tryouts OC will do the same as CFK has done for the past 2 years. The same guys give their famous speech to everyone that even if your kid did not make the A team (Black team) there is plenty of room and opportunity for them to move up. They will be evaluating players throughout the year and will move players accordingly. Same speech every year, Believe me it NEVER happens.

Just go play for another club. Your chance will come to school the black team. Then you can walk be the coach and give him that, "Yeah I did" look that lets him know that he should be watching try-outs rather than BSing on the sidelines with his cronies.

The best revenge is 'megging the moron that played ahead of you last season.

We are not for all teams. Orlando City will offer programs that work for some and not others. We offer an alternative for coaches that are not in the mix of programs that will be offered. Good Luck

They coach their own kids playing for them, have seen a soccer game on TV and once a book on the shelf about soccer. Oh and they led the last team they coached to the YMCA League Championship

Translation Deltona Youth Soccer. How are you going to get into showcase tournaments with walk-on teams? You fail to mention a league, I'm sure you guys will do well in GCF.

You claim that you'll have "Greater Exposure to College Recruiters"

You don't have one showcase tournament, that you can actually get into, listed.

You claim that a team can practice where they want, when they want, really. I want Austin Tindale 5 days a week from 5-9. Good luck with that.

He's not with Deltona any longer. I don't think he was there a year. In fact Deltona does have not a anyone listed as president on their site.

It's odd you don't know about FYSA sanctioning and how leagues and tournaments work. Seems like someone trying to make a buck after getting a little soccer experience with Deltona. Apparently you don't have enough experience. If you couldn't make it work with free fields and FYSA affiliation in Deltona how are you going to do it with no affiliation and no fields? As was mentioned you can't just go get fields.

New Directors at OCYS

Orlando City Youth Soccer today announced it has started the hiring process for Director Level positions in its new Soccer Academy. The following positions are open for applications:

•Senior Academy Director - Boys
•Senior Academy Director - Girls
•Junior Academy Director - Boys
•Junior Academy Director - Girls
•Recreational Soccer Director
Directors will be responsible for developing club-wide educational programs, overseeing coaches and support staff, and ensuring the curriculum remains consistent throughout the club.

Directors must also possess strong organizational and management skills, strong practical coaching and club soccer experience, as well as holding the required Coaching Licenses.


*This should make tryouts interesting for everyone, both coaches and potential players.
