They don't have full DA yet so what about those age groups? And you can only develop 1 competitive team per age with all that depth? What about the other clubs in the finals with ECNL and DA?

01's made Final Four and lost 2-1 to TBU who most agree are the top team in the state outside of the DA. The 03 B team made it to final 8. Armada currently has DA at 02, 03, and 04/05. Full DA begins next year. All what depth? Of all of the clubs with ECNL and DA in FL, except maybe IMG, Armada is the smallest club and in the smallest market. Also, Armada doesn't play games with rosters for State Cup success. ECNL players play ECNL, and DA players play DA, and that's it. If you want to see how Armada is doing where it actually matters, take a look at the DA and ECNL results. Doing more than just fine there. As for State Cup, enjoy your moment in the sun. It's great for the kids to think they are the best. Just keep things in perspective.

Agreed. Many clubs are run solely by volunteers and running an event would require all hands on deck. Even ones with pro coaches and management may still need parent help for events like that. Not a big deal at all. OP doesn't have to volunteer if he doesn't want.
