Who is the MH parent who keeps pretending to be 2 or 3 different people on here to respond and support their own comment? Has to be the parent of someone on offense. Nothing worse than a parent chirping in their kids ear of how much better they are than anyone else on the team. How they have everything to do with a team win and nothing to do with a loss. EVERY team has 2 or 3 of these crackpot parents. Just reading these posts you can tell who they are. The biggest threat to team performance in a season isn't defense or offense, it's undermining by misguided parents who are under the illusion their kid is the next Mia Hamm. Telling their kid to stay up when the coach is telling them to go back and help. Drilling it in their heads that an assist is worthless and that goals are what gets your name in the paper. YOU are the biggest threat to your daughter's team, not the coach, not the defense, not the offense. You.
If you're this type of parent, do your kid a favor if she plays in college. Keep your mouth shut when you learn she's riding the pine. She is going to have to work hard to learn what it's like to be part of a team and undo the years of horrible advice you gave her. It's the least you can do.Comment
